Hi Guy's
Hi OTF,
There is nothing wrong with the parts that Terry makes has history shows, and I just wonder who wont deal with who??
He may take time to read e-mails but has I said the guy is "an old age pensioner" and has not caught up with,2012 ways of comunicating ,Ring him and he will chat for hours, and you will be better of with what he has told you.Go on you know you want too!!! Just Google Terry Weedy.
Regards Charlie.

Hi Guy's
Hi Mikey.
Terry is one of the stalwarts of the Classic Bike scene, with knowledge others could only dream about. And one of the few guys to spend a fortune having parts that you want, designed, and made. He never gives up on trying making parts at a reasonable price that you the rider needs. Don’t forget that he made most of the Miller parts for decades. At his age the guy could easily retire, but he loves what he does too much. Get the parts while you can is my motto.
Regards Charlie.

Hi Guy's,
Hi John, You know what we feel should happen, has you have spent time taking to my friend I understand.
Still think a Scrutineer, should be applied with knowledge of British built bikes, like road racing, no one argued with that. I remember being at a trial where Wrighty was doing just this job. And although there were jovial arguments. And the four stud fork issue came up a lot, Riders did not mind there bikes being checked. If necessary surly a small fee could be added to the entry fee, to pay the scrutineer for his travelling expenses.
I think the tags should now be Brit-Bike, Brit-Shock, and for bikes like the Sprite, Trick-Shocks. (Who does own that bike?) The scrutineer would just grade the bikes presented into one of these classes. Simples.
Regards Charlie.

Hi Guy’s
Silly Question but just curious,
Who owns the Ti framed “Sprite” then?
His he, or she, a top class trials rider that needs a bike this expensive?
I know I am nosey, but would just like to know why the bike was built.
Regards Charlie.
-
Hi Guy's.
Just right to build for next years Scottish Pre 65, And with a Titanium frame it would be even better, What fork sliders do you hide GAS GAS internals in though?? :hyper:
Regards Charlie. PS Nice one Andy

Hi Guy's.
Hi Dave.
After reading that, I feel that you should be President of a new committee that is promoting a Classic Trials bike sport in this, and other countries. More than that I feel you would make a first class Prime Minister. If only!!
Honestly, that is a statement that could save, and change the face of the Classic trials bike scene "Forever" well done that man!! :icon_salut:
Regards Charlie.

Hi Guy's
Hi OTF.
With guys like Woody about, who can always put common sense to an argument? It seems like the end of WW three could actually be in the negotiation stage.
I have today been advised by a close friend that I would be bonkers to give up what I have lived for most of my life, on a few comments that did not suit me. And so have today been piecing together my first "Trickshox" bike, again along with a friend, both of these can be ridden in this,"Trickshox

Hi Guy's.
Hi OTF. After this week on here and with the commitment we now have to the HORSE sport. I may even go back to that. but it would be a shame as you know I am "200%" and more into "Classic Trials Bikes". But you can only try to help most of the people most of the time!!!
Regards Charlie.
-
Hi Guy's.
Hi OTF, You must stop eating all them packets of crisps, with out excersize?
Totaly out of my leage? but I was just wondering how much one of these "BlingShocks" change hands for??
-
Hi Guy's.
Hi Martin.
This is what you have said [and those that suggest all of this red tape will actually increase interest in the sport.] I do so hope you are right. that is what we set out to do in the first place.
Regards Charlie.

Hi Guy's.
Hi Dave,
Sorry the subject seems to have touched a nerve with you.
Has far as the Trick-Shock class is concerned, It is to stop this stupid Pre65 thing, and now it seems the same is just as prevelant, with Twinshocks.
The Trick-Shock, Britshock, Tab only seems like a better title to encompas all forms of trials bikes with two rear shocks, into some sort of order. You rightly say that putting 35 mm forks into British sliders and then calling the bike PRE 65 is a travisty. But unfortunatly has been exepted by the Scottish club for so long that this is now the norm. As it is still the case that I keep saying, that what ever that club passes, as orthentic period, carries on down the line for the next twelve months, and so it goes on. And now I am told the Twinshock scene is going the same way. How many 38mm forks will there be on twinshocks in twelve months time. I know it does not matter a hoot. But it is the old lemmings sindrome.
Sorry about the spelling, but I have to get out and walk the dog. Need some fresh air.
Regards Charlie.
