Hi ,, don’t know everything ,, I have few Bultaco’s ,, so my 2 cents , a pursang 125 I have had a small crankshaft it has 6 bolt head 1970 ish , have rare Sherpa 80 100 cc sure it has small crank has 4 bolt head like , Lobito some models , , think you would need to pull out crank and compare to average 250 , say pursang , or early Alpina Say relative 1970 ish , Check rod Bering size measure Bering surfaces , or go to a professional repair shop with crankshaft ,, O just for idea ,,,,,find a runner engine ,,,, p.s. I suspect the top end was off , exposed weather , can be a real mess ,, I purchased a engine in past , sat exposed cold , the trans gears were , a little rusty to , cheers 2

Hi as previous suggested , big rear sprocket , , think it’s 56 tooth ,there plentiful , upon installing , you get a big surprise , able to crawl , and pop wheelies , , just a suggestion , on my 121

Hi all , I carfually installed with dish soap water ,add air , drain air , go to 20 psi ,ck , then 25 psi , to 35 psi , , I must have purchased a run of bad tires , on sale mf Shinko ,,,,,there all over ebay , looks popular brand , well , one bubbled near valve tem , and would not seat on other end ot tire , one of other tires just would not seat ,, and pull up ,, these two where Shinko ,,,,the other brand is kenda , it just made a buble near stem area , ,, very mind blowing , all new tires from ebay , there were on sale 50$ usd each , I working on building a 121 pursang , have looking in my used parts front wheel , upon checking , , installing spinning each , , just found more work , like rebuilding a new front wheel , , trials bikes , I sure are very hard on front rims , go up creaks full rocks pot holes , guys thanks for the tips , cheers

Wheels,,, all three of these wheels are bent , don’t know what to think dirt bike used equals # , always check front wheel , up in the air spin around , c k , , and I purchased some tires on flee bay , new , shrink is one brand will never purchase again 2 tires deformed , upon installing , was 50 $ dollar tire new , both same brand deformed ,, upon installing on rim ,, think there made in Asia Taiwan ,, , if I do math that 3 new tires cost 150. USD deformed , upon purchase flee bay , $ and having problem with bent rims ,,,,,, fk fkfk,,,,,, , some of these are for my mk 4 mod 68 pursang , it runs , ,,,,,, CHEERS

Iconic 558 , that a nice example 348 ,I like montesa , nice looking sharp , , engines when running ok , there usually very strong ,, , sure you gave it a test ride before purchase , , I have a few montesa projects , , like them all , vintage , , well cheers good luck new bike

So a model 42 has a y frame on bottom and 48 has up graded frame , both heavy , some one quoted , red bike was a copy , it sold at auction ,,,,, so the original , bultaco riden by Fonda ? Probably in some ones collection , just an thought ,,cheers

I look and looked , it’s different must be a 42 , , what info I found there was 2 Bultaco’s , , a spare if other did not start , no photos or frame numbers for other , there was papers invoice for the 480510, pictured on line , by there studio ,, you know ,some times ,, wrighters , make up stories , on hear say , , , and there very good at it , , that what they do , a little fantasy , make things interesting ,, feetupfun , thanks for looking

Thanks for info feetupfun , I was looking at the lower frame , around lower motor mounts , ? Is it a model 42 or 48 ,, I thinking it’s a 42 frame , , can barley see it , ,, don’t see a front tube ,in front of lower motor mount , what you think
