Hi I don’t see any form for Rickman , I have a couple project bikes a Rickman 250 vr 73 montesa , Rickman hodaka 100 hodaka I purchased from motorcycle salvage yard in Michigan ,,,frame , mainly , had it shipped , just got lucky was looking at frame tag stamped H Most small Rickman are Zundapp stamped z ,purchased most mislanious on ebay , wheels forks . We’re off a super rat 1972 , , it runs with hodaka 100 Purchased on ebay , runs and shifts , its early year 6/ 71 . Small tag left side intact with model number , the whole project cost 1500. Usd so far , might find a better performance engine , it’s stock engine 100 hodaka with super rat parts , ,there really high geared for a little 100 ,my montesa did run , upon coupl hours after purchase , found trans , shaft broken , required , engine split case , it’s project , it was all there upon purchase , really , was stored East Washington state , in barn like 20 30 years , two bro’s , then to son , and sold it me delivered , I could not believe the compression power coming out old engine , I sure it was pickled cylinder ,, did have rust in tank wheels , mislanious parts , it’s all torn down and boxed up , when I get to it have purchased lots parts , from dealer in Oregon , I do Bultaco’s , and rebuilding a few engines , now ,,',,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,these bikes are not for sale. So , Just looking few Rickman dirt bikers ,on trials form don’t have any pictures , av my other computer toasted , with pictures , , cheers,,,,, and Happy hodaka day pictures are on about me

Hi thanks reply . ,,, I looked up gaskets kits , from Hughes bultaco and ebay ,, from model 135 pursang to 163 Astro 250 engine it said gaskets same so figure must be 60 stroke so I ordered gasket kit and now find parts in my basket cases and boxes ,,,, ?.... I sincerely hope to find a cylinder in my pile ,, of parts ,,,,, , Wednesday I started pulling parts off ,I have pursang 192 For a few parts , still looking for cylinder piston ,head I know must have parts off few 250 , I tore down years ago ,

Hi I kind has similar , I ran another ground wire from engine magneto and engine case , mounting bolt . to coil mounting bolts ,, for extra negative ... ground ,, think all other suggestions are Great ,To check Having a coil volt light , might help I have one purchased at harbor freight USA , 5.00 usd i

Hi it’s looks. A little messs. , it’s about $$$ . , I do fiberglass repairs older bultaco say 68 And put sealer in tank ,,, !, say metal alum , steel , ?.. we tried fix old hodaka tank croam was rusty Inside cleaned it with acid cleaner like 6 times so must rust , were prob just going buy ,another after all that work cost cleaner , Add info , checked ebay reguar basic , there alum , mf India , From 499.00 to 699.00 usd

Great , thanks info think some one rebuilt 213 many years ago and Parker it , I picked it up from a picker ? He never started it , had fuel in it looked dark , thought it was a ready runner got it running after 40 kicks , was tired engine , so, back to drawing board find right , cylinder , have 166 , it’s needs boring if , fixable at last oversized, they charge 100. To bore and tax at our local machine shop , going look at my spares , I cannot use 199 , upon info it’s 60 mm , it’s nice shape , I save for another , when working with older 250 so 68 pursang Alpina 85 parts interchange , with no problem ,, ya always thinking how to put puzzle together , , and really liked 213 the way it rides. Thinking ,, that made changes around 1975 to 76 , , mk models go all over upon looking at production list , could not find any engine production on line , just. Some info on bultaco changed bore stroke for tax , Government regulation

Hi basically 250 and 350 Pursang alpine Sherpa , I building. Engines and interchanging parts , cylinders on all these models , 213 192 199. 166 159 , wondering what year , I found 166 cylinder on my. 213 ,, so I little confused how far back change , I measured piston skirt. , the older are defiantly shorter , say early 350 off a matador ,, some are different lengths on 350 around 5 inches , and more and less of what few I have , , any info might help , thanks

Hi there a Sherpa 199 on ebay states for sale a parts bike , ho I purchased the 199 cylinder for my 213 ya not sure on stroke , will check out ,,this winter found a few good deals On engines ,,Astro 163 and matador 4 both need some parts and repair. Astro is almost complete engine with a good rod and crank just need ignition and piston

Hi thought you all might like to know there a Sherpa 199 being parted in states , just listed this week , on ebay , been watching good deals in winter. Purchased 2 engines projects Astro 250 and matador model 4 both needing lot of polishing and lots oil ,, I really wanted another Astro , after selling one for parts , so have good 250 with with great crank tight rod , just needs piston and ignition , I have parts somewhere , think will put on light. Frame maby lobo , will post picture

Your Cota 50 definally a wanted bike , I have way way to many to , don’t think can fix all but keep on trucking on , good luck

I have 192 pursang short block , needs cylinder , is it possible to use a pursang 120 cylinder , both are 250 . Has any body attempted this

Hi have 85 and 213 definally different , . I personally like 213 , it cost more to restore . Harder to find parts , I just found a short block . After a few years , I blown original ,, worn engine , it’s on my list ,, 85 was a deal to purchase engine little worn ,, rod loose , found another no problem , , frames are different in weight and balance

Hi I found PGN internal Bering cheep got 500 3/16 croam bearings delivered under 10 usd . I have others to fix mainly old Bultaco’s . Larry
