Triton,
The engine is distributor type, the wiring is still through the crancase top not the clutch cover.
Do you run the standard primary 19T Duplex engine sprocket or have you changed this also.

Honda RS :
thanks for info will call Ray.

Can someone help please how do you remove the gearbox sprocket on a tiger cub. Sounds simple.
Have removed clutch casing, duplex chain and sprockets and now cannot see a method apart from removing the gearbox from kickstart side.
I believe that there is a mod to the clutch side crancase casing to make this easier, has anyone got this ?.
bike is later engine with distributor.
thanks in advance.

Subira,
That would be great.
Save me machining costs as well.

Need information on 38 mm dia forks.
The diagramatic assembly of the damper.
Have stripped mine and want to check everything is ok.
Need to remove old fork seals without damaging the legs.
Can anyone help with copies out of manual etc.

I have a top mount distributor T20 motor 1955.
Are the differences with the side points type motor before I start machining on my motor for PVL etc.
Is there any benefit to the later side points motor.
Would be interested to hear your comments on this.

Cheers lads.

Manual does reccomend super unleaded.

Having read all the comments, it seems that eligibility is not an issue to some.
I have a Keihin at present which I assumed was not a eligible carb to use.
I assume that I can now change my original suspension for Betors or Falcons etc.
Cannot see any tiger cubs using the standard units I have on the bike.
The alloy rims will also be staying.

What is the best carb choice for a tiger cub 200 for Pre-65 events.

Considering re-spoking a set of wheels with butted stainless steel spokes as opposed to the galvanised ones.
Does anyone know of problems with using the stainless steel spokes.
Thanks in advance

Boofont,
Try Central wheel company.
They are expensive and you have plenty cash
-
Gordon,
Try swapping your oil pump from your other tlr.
-
Try boiling water on the alloy part.
Sometimes enough to free off.
Has worked for me on alloy parts with steel fixings.
