A friend of mine has just bought a 1997' jtx 270 and it needs new steering and linkage bearings, does anyone know the bearing numbers/sizes so i can get some from a bearing supplier??

I've had the engine out for a rebuild and put it back in and no spark!!! it turned out to be a dodgy plug cap! thanks anyway.

I had a brand new 08' 250fr and the only trouble i had was a couple of fan switches packed up!! and the clutch would be fine one day and drag the next. apart from that i had a good 18 months with it.

I would phone or e-mail john lampkins and see if he's got a wiring diagram. Where do the wires on the coil go to?? usually the kill wires one will go to the coil and the other earth onto the frame, so when you press the button it'll ground the coil and kill your spark!

I've just rebuilt the engine in my 2007 290 and i'm not quite sure with the kick start mech set up?? does the the stop on the ratchet suppossed to slip behind the steel stop bolted in the case and then rest againt the case??

while the engine is out of my 2007' sherco 290 for a rebuild i decided to give it a facelift so i'm changing the colours...! pics coming soon, the frame is being painted tommorow!
