Its definately the woodruff key that lines the flywheel up on the crankshaft! it will have sheared off. The same happened on my montesa 311, i rode it and then stopped and talked to a friend, started the bike up knocked it into gear let the clutch out and smashed the handlebars into my stomach!!!! 6 reverse gears
