Yeah, i bought it with the motor out, the guy had fell off and it revved flat out till the big end siezed up!! This is the parts i'm gonna order - conrod kit, main bearings and seals, small end bearing, waterpump seals, rings and all gaskets!!! The piston and bore is perfect!

Yeah i had a look on splatshop site at the part numbers, but i thought i'd ask on here anyway!

Is there any difference with a crank in a 2000 model sherco to a 2007 model???

I've just stripped my 07 sherco 290 engine, i bought it from a guy last week that had a similar thing happen and it killed the big end bearing because none of his mates tried to kill the motor from revving flat out!! he had fell down a banking when he came off!

I agree the ty mono is pretty much indestuctable, i knew a guy that did a trial every weekend for years and never put a spanner to it, he didnt even wash it and it just kept going!! TY 250 MONO = HARD AS NAILS!

Yeah the price was right and i new it would be a rebuild anyway..!

Here we go, on the engine case it says Fantic 350, and on the headstock of the frame it says Fantic 237 ? I've measured the bore and it's 62mm

I bought a fantic last week and the guy i bought it from said it was a 241?? i was wondering whats the difference between the 201, 241 and 301??
