I've had a few makes of boots, now i stick with SIDI boots i'm on my 4th pair they last well and if you rip a clip off you can get spares easily!!

I'm looking for some good quality pics of a 87' garelli 323 trials bike, so i can get the graphics made for my garelli.
the 87' model has a white frame and the graphics are different on the 86' which is the red frame.

I've been waiting for at least 10 weeks for a tank sticker for my 03 txt edition??? they are on back order with gas gas has anyone got one?? in red for a 250.
I also want the seat panel stickers?
The only other thing i can think of is to get some good pics of one and try and get a graphics company to make some up for me??

From what i've just got translated i think gas gas tried to buy 75% and sherco 25% of scorpa but they couldnt sort it out quickly enough?? i think?? see if you can translate it ??

I ran it in for about 7 hours changed the oil and then did the trial the next day!!!! that'll teach the bike for sitting in the side of the garage with no engine for just over a year!!!! it ran like a dream, what a bike!

I've just rebuilt my 87' garelli engine and am running it in, different people have told me different things heres what i've been told so far!!
1 tank of fuel,
3 tanks of fuel,
1 Hour riding,
10 Hours riding,
Well i've done about 3.5 hours so far and only got tommorow to go before the trial on sunday!!
Any more running in suggetions???

It's got mega compression now, it's like kicking a 370 gasser.
I've been told that the kick start gears are strengthened / upgraded on the 87' garelli!!
fitted new fork seals yesterday to the marzzochi forks theres 2 in each leg (47 35 10) if anyone needs to know!! and some nice silkolene light gear oil..
Just need to sort the silencer and run it in before the trial on sunday, i havent rode a trials bike for months i'm gonna be all over the place!
I ordered new pads and shoes if they come in time i'll have to fit them a bit quick..
The bike has sat at the side of the garage for a year and 2 weeks until last week now she's being spoilt!
i'll post some recent pics soon.

All back together except the rear silencer, got to mod the silencer, do the fork seals and run the beast in!

Thanks, i spoke to someone at a trials shop today and he said the same it will improve the strangled engine if i cut all the junk out!!

My garelli rear silencer always had a rattle coming from the inside, so now i've rebuilt the engine i thought i should sort the silencer out???
So i've carefully cut the back off the box with an ultra slim cutting disc, and when i opened it up WOW WHAT THE HELL????
inside its got a pipe coming from the front of the box about 4" long going through a plate and then another 3 plates with small openings alternating at the top and bottom and the last plate has a short perferated pipe going out the back??? it seems quite a restrictive design to me, i was thinking about removing the plates and modifiying it to like a modern design with one long perferated pipe and packing around it???? i'll post some pics tommorow

I painted it silver and did'nt like it so now its black again!! all rebuilt and ready to go back in the frame maybe tommorow afternoon?
I've turned it over and it's got mega compression now!!
i'm not looking forward to putting the engine back in it was hard work getting it out!?!?! hell of a tight fit..

Well the bottom end is finally rebuilt and i picked up the top end freshly re-plated ready to go on tommorow!! hopefully it'll be back together by next weekend theres a trial i want to do on it in a fortnights time!
I've been thinking about repainting the engine silver instead of black?? i think it'll suit the bike more than black.?!?!?!? i've seen it in done some fantics and it looks much nicer.
