After ordering two Section Evolution, none of them looks or matches the photo. Have not been comp. for the return costs.. The problem is that XC dont match the patterns of "top and pants" at waist sew properly, blue/white fields or black lines. Im expecting quality, at least "looks" for a ~

Betamike, thanks! It was probably this model I saw. But the pipe I saw had a beautyful "kit look" stainless and welded "expansion sections" closer to the outlet, not chromed symmetrical pipes. Rotax 99? Wasnt there a real Yam made trial 00-01? Ok, so Scorpa are using the TYZ engine 01-06? And Yam still hold their coat over Scorpa manuf....unofficially Cheers, Pat

Hi, Have some questions about pipe for Scorpa 2-s. Ref. to a bike I saw, guess model 2001-2002 lighter blue than 2005, it was equiped with a nice pipe, stainless MX-like expansion chamber. A pipe not at all like these for GasGas or Beta. Could it have been a stock pipe? Or did someone offered kit pipes for Scorpa? Cheers, Pat

Paioli, http://www.sudco.com/mikuni.html#vm Sorry to here that VM28 is shorter. Just reading the diam is same engine 35mm/ air boot 44mm. As I wrote, ordered the special trial needle 5C23 and pilot 32.5-42.5 wich dont fit TK... Have read some discussions on this forum abouts carbs, are the common opinion that you should go for Keihin or Dellorto, not Mikuni if possible? Have spoken to pre-65 riders using Mikuni VM28, they are pleased. Non reeds bikes but anyhow... P

Hi, Searching for a work shop in the UK who offers the same knowlegde and machining as B&J Racing US. Need to optimise my squish band and port the cylinder. Im even interested of data for correct squish and head cc, so I can send it to a work shop closer to home. About porting, guess only encreasing width gives benefits. My TY250R-84 set up Engine Boyesen #663 Sammy pipe Tot rebuilt engine Pilot 44(have tested 35 and 40, but RON105 dont cover the pinging)The marks on ign.plate/crank case matches. Main 122.5(mikuni) Extended clutch lever Twin air, same as TYZ Single grade W30 Synt 2-s, 1.4% Chassie Extended shock(no leaking) and encreased pre-load set up GasGas-04 front wheel Stainless for rear brake (instead of the stupid wire) Chain wheels from B&C Lovely Michelin Thinking of: Engine Dismantle the fly wheel weight, running with clutch all the time any way Rebore and port cyl Machining squish Wiseco for IT Mikuni VM28 Alloy repackable middle- and end silencer Maybe an TYZ-like pipe Alloy kick start Chassie New front end springs, fresh stock Nm/mm Lower the foot pegs 25mm and modern wide New rear wheel, unbelivable the hub has been welded before I bought it, could coop with a used stock hub A smaller tank unit Maybe lower the air box Mini clutch lever

Hi, Have though of using an VM28 instead of the TK stock. I ordered by mistake pilot for VM26 for my TK, stupid, main fits not pilot. By the way, Mikuni offers a special trial needle, almost fat all the way, odd angle. Have anyone tested VM28 at TY250R? Reffering to Bruce, in US, site about optimasing his TY350R, he removed 1mm at the back of the trottle and went up in pilot for better responce. Cheers, Pat
