  1. Where are you? I have some parts for a Matador you might want.
  2. Only one crank seal isn't going to do it. They can harden up with age just sitting there. It might be a carb issue but you don't know until both seals are new.
  3. Were there no instructions with the ignition?
  4. Oh, don't worry, they have them! Get calling.
  5. You're in NY? How far are you from Hugh's?
  6. Is that a good deal over there? Doesn't seem like a lot of money for a running Bultaco.
  7. I do not know about the Ossa seals. Regardless, get them all replaced. You should see a remarkable difference. Keep in mind that you also want to insure no air leaks around the carb area either.
  8. Pretty easy to test. Plug the hole.
  9. I thought the pilot jet to be too small. I'm running a 35 compared to his 20. The lag from "no throttle" is just where the pilot jet is in effect. Lag could be that it's too lean.
  10. Thanks, but I couldn't find an email address on the website.
  11. Trying to contact Sammy Miller Products via email. I think they have a new site, but no email address listed. If someone has it can you PM me with it? Thanks!
  12. Are you including the triple clamps in the discussion? The other difference you have to worry about is the spindle offset.
  13. Tear the carb down and report back with needle jet, main jet and pilot jet numbers. They are stamped on each part. Instead of tape or "snuggest" of the carb to manifold a better test is to spray carb cleaner on the joint will the bike is running. A change in rpm denotes a leak.
  14. Looks like I'm missing the spring. Never really noticed as the brake releases nicely.
  15. Ah, jeez, now I have to go take a picture of a real M49 front brake... not a modded one.
  16. It was more to show the components, like the spring and the thing that grabs the cable. And yes, the M49 is more comparable but it's three bikes deep. Isn't yours more handy?
  17. I think this is my M92, it's less buried than the M49 but it should give you an idea of the parts.
  18. Shoot, if you have a lathe you could have just turned your own.
  19. I thought there was a post about this a while ago.
  20. Vintage Brake A lot of people swear by these guys.
  21. You're right, of course. That paint scheme was throwing me way off.
