  2. Hi, For trials type bike MOT's the guide lines are as follows:, lights not required (advisory will be issued warning presenter not to use bike in times of bad visibility) Reflector not required. Horn must be of a continious audiable note, (bikes reg before august 1973 a bulb type horn is acceptable) Speedo not required, Exhaust no longer requires E mark or bsau markings (but must not be noisy) Number plates have letters on two lines,have a standard font ,black letters on yel ref backing and must be readable from approx 15mts. (bikes reg before jan 1973 can have white letters on a black background) Tyres must be E marked. Seat must be secure (stick on or painted on seat pads acceptable) all the other testable components follow the same guidelines of a standard road type motorcycle. hope this helps.P..
  3. Hi don't forget to check your tyres, they should be E marked, (some tyres are not E marked and say 'not for road use' which are a No No) P..

  6. You could try flow liner it's a 2 pack resin that you mix and pour in to your tank and swill it around (remove fuel tap and seal hole with tape first),I'v used it a few times with excellent results on rusty tanks and split plastic tanks.

  8. I got a Shiro matrix off e-bay well made with a removable liner ! and free shipping on some colours.
  9. Hi,do the same as me! throw it way and buy a shiro matrix,comes with removable / washable lining or replace it for around ten pound.
  10. hi,yes they work a treat but you have to make sure that you wire brush all the crud and corosion out of the rim groove where the tape is going to fit,use soapy water to make the fitting an easier. i got mine from www.randttrials.co.uk.
  11. hi, be very carefull using the air gun to undo the flywheel nut , i have come across cases where the hammer action has knocked cranks out of true !. p.

Hi,have you made sure that there is a little free play on the brake rod that pushes the piston in your rear brake master cylinder (this adjustment is important as it ensures that the piston is returning fully thus uncovering the port that allows fluid in to the cylinder and sometimes you have to back flush the system by pushing back the pistons into the caliper which will displace the fluid (and air ) back into the reservoir.
