  1. Thanks Copemech, do you think semi synthetic protects better against condensation when bikes are parked up for a period of time (month or six weeks)?
  2. Any one got any thoughts on changing premix from full to semi and back again without causing any engine problems? Is full synthetic really as good compared to a good quality semi in the wet conditions we ride in?
  3. Sorry you need to touch the two ends of the test leads together and then set the zero at the far right of the needle range. Hope that makes sense?
  4. Also you need to set the zero position of the meter. When you are looking straight at the meter using the mirror behind the needle (if you can see a reflection of the needle you are not looking square on at the meter) use the adjustment dial to set the needle to zero!
  5. What range have you set the meter on and what value are you trying to read?
  6. What is the issue with the gear box? I did not know it had an issue!
  7. Van leasing covers it!!

  9. We have the LWB Trafic crew cab, really pleased with it, three bikes and all the gear and still room for six people.

You need to get a ride on one it will either suit your riding or you will hate it! I loved mine from day one, easy to start when hot or cold, once you have got it dialed in you can find grip when others can't. As a said above get out on one and you will soon know.

Have you tried a brand new, never been used straight out of the box spark plug, as has been said before the TY 80 can kill a plug very quickly.

That is not a breather, it is the original oil feed from the oil pump, before it was disconnected and set up as a premix engine. Hope that makes sense!
  14. Stay on the old x11 you will get more grip than the pirellis will ever give you!

If you are getting one get the one with wheels on so you can spin the bike around and move the bike around your workshop without taking it off the stand!

I am 6' and the handlebar ends are at eye level when the stand is at its max height.

  22. jfc replied to starr870's topic in Trials Gear
Only for the photo, but still very solid on the stand.
