  1. Phone Surrey Cycles 01483 272328, usually can give an instant answer.
  2. How do the rear shocks/suspension like the racks ?
  3. Standard practice in the motor trade. (real mechanics anyway)

    Fantic 200

Might be worth emptying the tank, strip the carb, clean the air filter , check the timing etc. It will be worth it when it goes. Try fresh 2 stroke as well.
  5. Thats clever. But I think we hold the crown for most nannified country. (In everything that doesn't matter, of course)
  6. Hi is that Matt Peden ?

  7. I take it that you are using an o ring chain ?
  8. No the sphinkter police are way ahead of you, they have maximum power, and power to weight ratios !
  9. I think it was about this time that disc brakes appeared on trials bikes, still dont think they will ever catch on.
  10. Were they the ones riveted together, with an extra pair of sprockets on the swinging arm, for perfect chain tension ?
  11. The inference in a number of posts is that Scottish riders are favoured, over 9 : 1 would discredit that. I'm sure that any reasonable person realizes that it would be an impossible task to allocate places, with the exception of past winners etc. My comment was an attempt to steer the disappointment of not gaining an entry, away from creating a soure note on the build up to what will, I'm sure, will be yet another fantastic event. Amen

    Drowned Beta 270

Have you washed and re-oiled your air filter ?
  13. KTM (one at the ssdt riden by Walter Luff ?)
  14. Prefered riders ????????????????
  15. For all the riders that are unlucky at the pre65 here's the perfect antidote, great trial having ridden and enjoyed it for the last two years. No ballot (yet) Again a very beautiful and rugged part of the country. Probably easier to get to. Plenty of accommodation and campsites. Great fish and chip shop, Indian etc within a few miles.
  16. [ B40rt - To support my Bultaco habit I'm a builder and plumber. The stand is made of 15mm copper pipe from Wickes and the joints are all standard yorkshire fittings. I'd recommend 22mm as its a bit wobbly! Tim Thanks for that, I only asked as it looked very well done and I have lots of fittings lying around. It looks better than the lemonade crate currently employed. Ross
  17. I might have missed it, but are there similar discussions when riders have their entry returned at other trials ?
  18. A bit off the subject but is that stand all copper tubes and pre soldered joints ?
  19. Most clutches drag / dont disengage when cold. My method is to push the bike with engine running and slip it into gear, they ride about with the clutch leaver in and wait till it frees off. I think this method is slightly kinder to the gearbox / clutch. ATF / TQF for gearbox
  20. You would probably be better asking which not to buy. Most well looked after bikes will give you endles hours of fun. Try and buy a bike from an older rider who polishes it more than rides it !
  21. Hi Duncan, hav'nt seen any emails. Can you forward it to me please. Ross
