Disc, sounds soooooo much like Rever and WB did when they first started posting, they knew all the answers too, I was never like that when I was a teen
-
This is the part #42610-nn. on the sales receipt, I will also count the spokes!
didn't Mont change the number of spokes in the rear wheel a few years back, will be back with more info.................. it's a 36spoke rear and I used the spacers that came with the Mont wheel, not the sherco spacers.
The most critical part is making sure the disc is centered in the caliper.
Looking at the hub I think the do it youselfer could lace whatever hub`they wanted to the DID rim useing the mont spokes.
-
Isn't this also a 05 model
-
I think it does have a 01 ? 02 front fender on it.
I always run the 2000 front fender they are stiffer and better to mount the mudflap on, but it was on the bike I rode in the ssdt so had to make do with whatever was hung on the garage wall.
The Mont wheel is the older style DID, but it fits right in.
-
Looks like an 04 with a Mont wheel to me.
-
Two different systems Pete, 2 stroke mains are lubed by the pre-mix and all dust, water, and crap that gets past your filter goes directly into the bottom end.
4 stroke mains run in engine oil, and the intake is all kept in the top end
-
I use a Mont rear wheel in my sherco, also looks like it will slot straight into the thumper when it comes also.
Why!! no bloody rim band thats why
-
Marky, on the little Scorpa 125,I add a drop of Blendzall to a can of gas, by gum lad that bean oil sure smells good in the woods
-
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, take Andy for instance! he goes out with some real growlers
but don't tell him that
-
The two stroke mix won't harm the four bangers if the get the wrong can know and again, but the poor buggers who get the straight gas in the 2 stroke will moaning a bit .
-
Scorpa 125 !! You lads ower that side of the pond who took the large seat and tank off your bikes, would anyone be interested in selling them ?
-
Very good write-up and introduction for the bike, I can't wait to get mine.
This years SSDT will have two new breeds of fourstroke competing in the
true reliability test, lots of mud, water and mi;es to cover.
You lads in England should have a nice stocking filler for Christmas.
-
The one with the censored tits
-
I don't quite see Dougie wanting to chat with the Joker
-
I take it you mean this side as we look at the picture Vinnie, if so I think you will find it's no different from the two stroke and was never a problem.
-
Nay lad!! I don't know what I'm banner do wi thi.
I asked you to find out if the bike had two different oil supplies, meaning was the gearbox oil and the bottom end / crank oil seperate.
-
This is a bigger picture, maybe Andy could mek em both the same size ?
-
Kinell got a couple of pictures same sort of shot of both strokers
-
Does help to read the front page Steve.

I would warm the bike up and drain the oil mesure what you get out just to see how much was in there, take out the filler plug at the same time you take the drain bolt out [lets it drain a bit faster] then refill with 450cc of the oil you use.
The breather pipe needs to do just that but can't when its full of oil, so remove that and clean also.
Now you know it's got the correct amount of oil and can breath
-
Dave Renham looks like he wer short of a few fish and chips, skinney little bugger.
-
Looks like trialsurfer will gets some big waves to catch
