  1. http://216.239.39.104/translate_c?hl=en&ie...3Fq%3Dtodotrial Url doesn't seem work, but full story on front page of Todo trial
  2. Ian, I see a few posts how the wireless broadband is a good idea for the WR, wonder where they got that one from
  3. City Trials, with all due respect to the U.S. champ riders, in past U.S. world rounds, the top north American rider is usually over 100 points behind the event winner, hope the sections are harder than a U.S, national or they will get half a dozen top WR lads with clean score cards.
  4. Thought you would be in Duluth now Ringo, got a call yesterday, some complaints from team M that it's way too easy and needs to be toughened up
  5. HL" I think I just wet mi sen, do you think people will notice us drinking at 8am" Cam " never mind Kin'll's just drove in the field in his tight riding pants"
  6. Lad, "whats the best line here then" Kin'll, "well when I was showing Ish and Perce the line up at that bit of a trial i rode a week er two ago"
  7. Don't know why! but the file was too big, I thought I had reduced it last night
  8. First day results here http://www.natctrials.org/results.php
  9. Another well kept secret ? 5.000.000 hits this past month for trials central, and free posting of stories for clubs, I don't think it would be a bad idea for more info and hype about the Duluth world round to be seen on the front page, the first info I found was from the link someone posted on this topic. The price is right free publicity for a world class event, that many don't know nothing or little about, event sponsors like to see their name about, the more mentions they get the more likely they will sponsor you again.
  10. Got to say no! PNTA points rounds in Oregon the week after, and no clerk of the course, silly bugger me can't say screw em and go watch the world round.
  11. Can't! think I must of used up about six years of brownie points in the last couple of months.
  12. Honda owning twin ring and all their top riders over for the world round, bet they are riding the hell out of it this week, comparing it to the 315 in WR conditions. It didn't perform too shabby first time out, could we see one of the top riders on it soon? .
  13. I saw the event report and pictures Steve, looked like a good event, wish I could have attended on the little 200, but this season many dates have conflicted and I rode our club event.
  14. I rented the movie Calander Girls last night, has all that area on the film even Wilks garage, anyone from this side of the pond who would like to see where the TC trial will be held should rent it, new release this week, you could even tell the missus it would be a nice place to visit next year, just plan it around the correct date Bit of a chick flick so tell your wife you got it for her
  15. That's like the lad who got the young girl pregnant! "I only use it for practice"
  16. Looks like the old tags are due next month, bet the buggers don't give them away down there either Beavs bud Arnuld or what ever he calls him will be getting a double dibble off ya
  17. Well into the season now and wide open on who will be champ, the US round could be a big decider, needs to be wet and hard to sort the top lads out.
  18. I don't understand what all the fuss is about, it's out there in the flesh competing at world level for it's first outing and won't be long before you can buy one fro your local dealer, no one will have a gun to your head saying you must buy one! the choice is yours. Say this is a TLR version for the clubman, the last TLR version to be made in the mid eighties is selling used today for around what it cost new 20 years ago and many consider it has the best twin shock bike ever made. From my experience with Honda and trials bikes the quality and performance has never been an issue, maybe why I still have a shed full of em, you can't knock what you don't know anything about and until clubmen are riding them every weekend will we get a true picture of what the bike will be like, until then keep guessing.
  19. And a few more with a blurb http://www.phototrial.it/2004/4strokehonda.htm
  20. Enron were pretty big when they folded, all size has to do with it, is you take more with you when you go down.
  21. All this means to the average trials punter is one less choice of machine, but to the all the people who are involved for a living this is a big deal, look at the large presence the factory team has at the ssdt, and world rounds, riders, minders, mechanics, importers, dealers a lot of people in a small industry will be affected.
  22. I have no clue!! I'm not rying to start a rumor here, but end one, if it's not true I expect someone in the know will kill it and put it to bed soon, if it is true I don't think we will see anything, as it will all come out in the wash.
  23. Not good for trials if true With Honda Montesa releasing pictures of the new four-stroke, and the smaller companies facing an expensive task of keeping pace if the emissions ruling does become fact in 06, how will the smaller companies survive. The rumors going around the SSDT about Gas Gas investors pulling the plug and leaving the boss holding the baby in a large new factory need to be confirmed or denied before they turn into the rats leaving the sinking ship syndrome. Trials is too small and bad publicity about bikes even if it's only the local clubman with a sticking back brake the news gets around fast good or bad, can hurt sales more than we think. Is the pie big enough for five or more trials bike manufacturers to make a livable profit from ? the more choices we have as the bike buying punter the better it is for us, but could we see the choices reduced to 2 or 3 bike brands, with less sponsored riders and less options of what we may be riding in the future. I think in the near future we are going to see some big changes in the sport, if what people are saying about the most popular clubman's bike manufacturer in the past decade is true. Can anyone in the know, put this rumor to bed and tell us the real score??????
