  1. I think this applies to all modern bikes that now have a fender/ mudguard that sits on top of the airbox, is two in" wide at the tail end, and most of the sheet ends up down your back, they are know built for looks rather than the function of stopping water and dirt getting all over the rider and bike, on the older bikes the fender used to be shaped to protect both and continued down between the wheel and airbox. When the bikes are built and tested in hot dry countries, maybe the old mud water problem isn't a big a concern to them, until the real test pilots gets it into the bogs and slop around the world and complaints start finding the way back to the factory. The truth is if a rear fender was made that totally protected both bike and rider, 99% of people would buy the none functional type for no other reason than it looks good. E by gum!! they don't make them like they used too when I wer a lad
  2. Here you go Nigel, http://www.trialscomp.com/forum/ Unfortunately for Perce we won't be riding excercise bikes in the ssdt

  5. Young Vix lass has been quite the past few months, hope she isn't laking wi blokes instead of riding her trials bike
  6. I remember the super bike six Mart and Malc battling it out for the win, busting the guts out of the little 125s in the road race, think Eddy Kid was among em too. But the big question is!! will Doug be riding, and what are the odds for the win if he is, care for a bob or two on it
  7. Probably a typo Dan, or they turn it over to a secretary to type up and they think it should be trails instead of trials, I don't think the AMA printed it like that on purpose.
  8. The 2000 125 and 200 were orange, and I know of two 125s, and a 200 in oregon, that have been here since 2000.

  14. Stock jetting for ssdt, little on the rich side for plonking around the back yard, but the road work keeps them crisp as a chip and no guess work needed.
  15. I think you are going to find an open or shorted to ground wire, on the old part of the wiring harness that hasn't been changed along with new parts. Find your power from the source coil, and your ground, and with a meter start testing each wire. Have you painted the frame, if so make sure the ign coil ground to frame is metal to metal. I don't know if the 200 uses the same wiring, but I could take a picture.
  16. A good dollop er cream will stop the gulley burn
  17. We'll get you up the bugger Kinnel, most of the good lads hit it to the left of were the water is you can see how it's worn, squids to the right, but most don't make it because of the tight turn before, it will go if you just stand on it and trust your bike.
  18. for a better view!! turn monitor on end
  19. It was turned into an series for the totally elite performers, and now only the totally elite can do it, and participation will get less unless a big change to make it more rider compatible is made. It doesn't need Champ, youth, women, and junior classes, just an A line and B line open to any rider, if road work is used then they have to meet Traffic regulations for that event. Yes you would get pot hunters and ex A line riders going for the B line pot, but that just adds to the competition, the good kids would ride with old past masters and hopefully move to the A line when ready, all in their own good time without all the rules that effect riders like Gary.
  20. Round 2 results are now up http://www.natctrials.org/results/04Rnd2.pdf
  21. Truth is on the world rounds, the fat lady hasn't got her knickers on yet!! never mind started singing, but a bit of mud in Japan and the USA would be nice for the English contingent, I would expect to see more from Raga in coming rounds, but I can't see him having his own way like the indoors.
