  1. Daft buggers! does it really bother you what some other bugger rides or how much they pay for it I think they should restrict trials to certain brands, like the Beta trial open to beta motorcycles only, the Sherco trial etc. The TY mono was a top seller, how many world championships did that win? I'm not smart enough to know how good the Mont/Sherco 4 strokes will be or smart enough to say one will be better than the other before I have even seen one, but I am smart enough to take no notice of you daft buggers who think they know how good they are.
  2. I already told him I have a four stroke honda ower there he could use if he paints the bugger.
  3. Shoei, bit more spendy to buy but a lot more cheaper in the long.
  4. Call John Lampkin Nick, I think some lads were taking off the lighting harness and also taking off a regulator or somthing that was causing the electrics to overload and fry the ignition. Make sure before pulling it all off.
  5. I'll ride em both, if the Sherco feels and preforms good then I of course it would be my first choice, but if the Mont is the Dogs bits and a better bike to ride, well I don't mind been called a whore.
  6. will you give up a minute, I'm trying to read the other bloody posts
  7. Andy did have the ratio software run a self diagnosis to see if ever there was a topic it wasn't used. The self diagnostic must not be working as the only answer it gave was the date and time.
  8. We did however find a glitch, for some reason whenever Wonder boy posts the software goes all to **** and the ratiometer blows a fuze, well we think it does cos no bugger can spout so much bull in one sentance.
  9. For those of you who have not realized yet, when it comes to bike brands! the trials central forums run at a ratio of 99 to 1, that is to say all you read about the bikes is 99% bull**** and 1% fact. This ratio is automatically implemented by the computer software running the site and cannot be changed in any shape or form. On proven models of the past decade the ratio is set at 75 to 1. Have a nice day
  10. You have to keep in mind both Sherco and Montesa are working hard to get their new 4 stroke machines out to the dealers where Joe puplic will find all sorts of new ways to bugger them up. I would rather wait a month or two and make sure as many of those ways are removed from the list than get one early just to say I have one. I just learned my new 05 2.5 Sherco is ready to be shipped to me, the reason I bought one in all reality I may not get a 4T untill well into next year. I know this isn't an option for many and your chomping at the bit, but also many posters are just 2 stroke fans wanting to pull the bikes down every chance they get and don't intend buying one, that is untill they get the assets handed to em. VIVA LA FOUR STROKE
  11. Tim, do what the buggers who try and get our kids hooked on drugs do! give em the first few events rides for free, make the course easy and fun for the entry level, you can't make novice section too easy in my book, once the flags/ribbon is up it starts a gravitational pull against the foot and the buggers dab just because there is a marker there. Those riders who improve will want to move up to a harder line to test their new found skills, the main factor is getting the steps in ability at the right level without over doing it or riders will quit or move back down a class, if a rider is totally comfortable riding where they are and don't want to move up even if they won that class the previous year, then they should be allowed to ride that class on an none award basis. I think a 50% increase from novice to intermediate, by riding half the toughest novice lines and half the easiest next class up line, the next step up is the same Half the hardest intermediate line and half the easiest next class up line, that way a rider moving up a class should be able to clean 50% of the easier lines. I would like to see all classes just be named A,B,C,D etc then split markers placed with an arrow on them, all classes who's letter is on that arrow must go the way the arrow points, one section with well placed arrows can cater for a broad ability of riders without too much effort on the person marking out the event. TRIALS!! the anti drug
  12. It's a self portrait, close as you'll get
  13. 125, it runs good and the two that I have seen with the bog bore kit may have had a little more beans but didn't run has sweet, I think it is what it is, and it's good for what it is. The best thing they could do is make the bugger a grand cheaper and sell more as an entry level bike.
  14. Hi Vinnie, it's called the race over here, the better forks brakes and stuff. I do think if i was riding club stuff in the UK, beck holes and such it would be all the bike I need.
  15. I was happy to score 5,1,0 on this step in last weeks club trial, the little bugger struggles to pull taller gears for this type of section and the sections where it is at it's best, nadgery streams, we don't ride very often. I would of pizzed the step all three times on my 2.9 and looking at my years results it isn't hard to see when I started riding the bike. The Scorpa 125 is a lot of fun to ride and I've given it a fair shot but will be glad when new bike gets here.
  16. Well done on getting round OTH, you got to be pleased with that.
  17. A man's got to know his limitations, the question is do you feel lucky What sort of pal would sell your petrol before you had even retired
  18. Eiger, looks like the second sub at Creag Lundie, bugger should have gone up the pointed rock to his left to clean it.
  19. You got round tue in the ssdt, just don't get off your bike not even to pizz, and you'll do fine, Andy will carry fresh clean underwear round for you and bring your used back.
  20. I just ordered a 05 Sherco 250 two stroke because in all reality it's going to be a while until the 3.2's hit the market, Montesa have a lot of bikes to build and once you go into production suppliers of components for those bikes hold you up in one way and another, or don't make the part to spec and they have to re do the lot. The Mont 315 was late coming out, but in the end were happy with the bike. Now giving Marky some stick because he thought he was banner have the first bugger in Yorkshire is a whole different ball game
  21. Shadwell. From what I understand reading the topic, there was a expert line and a clubmans line. The expert line you can make the buggers bleed I don't care, but why make the clubman course hard? isn't the whole idea supposed to be an hard line and an easy line
  22. TR 35 the tank is supposed to be red and white stripe's, it was produced in 90 has I got one, the Zero was launched that year and most opted for the new water pumper. I think the one I ordered was the only one in the states but there was one in BC Canada.
