  1. Hi Deon I was curious, so I just went to my workshop to start my OSSA. Went in my sneakers, so no boots! It was placed on a stool, and started in third kick cold. MAP 12, original sparkplug and the air filter needs cleaning! I have ridden the bike 20 hours from new..(approx.) My point is… Your dealer needs to take the computer on the machine, and find out what’s wrong! The bike should NOT need 15 kicks !! I’m just sad, that you don’t have the great experience that I have with my OSSA – It isn’t the bike that bad – it’s the way the dealer service you! Hope you get a real OSSA back
  2. :D I do like when people have self-insight …. Thumbs up!!!

    New Ossa Models.

New OSSA models. OSSA is launching a couple of new Trial models… In September it will be possible to get the new 125cc models. The TR125i Base will be a model with a bit cheaper suspention, but the priced a little under the TR280i model. The TR125i Racing, will be priced as the TR280i model, and be the same bike – just with a 125cc cylinder. In 2013 – April – the TR300i Racing model will be launched – Nice, and evil..! 4. Looks great – congrats on the new Bike… And agree… LOVE OSSA !!!!!
  5. I totally agree – never had any problems – Either on MAP11 or 12. I got a pal, that rides a 2011 OSSA, with the MAP 12. He has the same problem that a couple of you guys describe – he need to kick the bike until he turn blue… yet I can ALWAYS start his bike in max 4 kicks cold and 1 hot… - and yes… it’s a bet! Well.. to address the subject about dealers. I have bought my Ossa in Finland. That means that there it a 1000 km and a language barrier between me and the dealer.. Still – I NEVER have had a better dialog, and service before!. My point – it up to the dealer – not OSSA - to get us the service we require. If you want to sell a top of the line product as OSSA, you also should be able to load the new MAPS – In my option the data Cable is a tool, as a spanner or Torx key. (And it isn’t that expensive!) There is ALWAYS something wrong with the bike that you get – no matter the brand. It up to you (the rider) to buy the bike that suits you – and where the “drawbacks” on the bike irritates you the least. example: I did love my Beta Evo – but why the F### did it p*** fuel all over – making it stall when nose down in sections. I could keep on with every bike I ever had - I always find something that can be improved… And thank for that – if not we all still be riding twinshocks.. Again… no offence intended…
  6. Yes… Did the same thing in the last weekend – in the DM1 race… but it was stock in fifth gear.. so no race for me.. It took 1 hour to repair… Had a mate doing it for me! There is a small “steer” on the axle. That “steer” was broken off. It looked a bit fragile, but he says that it looks more or less exactly like a Gas Gas unit. I have heard that is should be a problem in general….
  7. I have the Map 12 installed on the 2012 – ALWAYS start on 3 kick cold, and normally in the first kick warm. I did however have issues on starting the machine when I first got it, but learning the technique of the tree kick (2 soft and then one hard), I have not had any problems on starting. I can see though, that others have problems on starting the OSSA – It do need a special start technique. I have found it hard to start the machine, if it has stopped in a section – especially if it is nose down. Then there is not enough power in my kick (when I need to hold my balance, not touching the ground) – so I’m still buying a LSS
  8. Have any off you guys tried the new OSSA air filter from Jitsie. I loos nice, although it would be nice with some
  9. The Thottle is a Domino Fast Action Throttle
  10. Yes - it the P11 mapping. What I meant was that although the 2011 I did try was with the P11 mapping , I still found the 2012 a bit better. Could be me being a foul, but it just feels better. Have to say that I have another Throttle (the fast one) and a stronger spring in my Ohlin.
  11. I have to say. Been out riding my 2012 OSSA for the first time this weekend, and I
