Has anyone been having problems with the front fenders breaking on the 05 betas? We have gone through several in just a short time. I broke the front off mine, moved it back & refastened it. Broke it again 2 more times this way. Two times it broke going off a drop. I think the plastic is faulty, because this is my fourth rev3, and never broke a front fender before.

I pull all the wires out of the right side of the tank (remove the black cover on the side) disconnect all that go through the top of the tank. Connect the two yellows. The black and white wire is for a killswitch, attach one wire to a standard killswitch and ground the other killswitch wire. Make sure the fan still runs.

I am on my 4th REV3 and I never had any trouble with these. But I always tighten the axle nut very tight.

I picked up my 270 at the BRX open house. The brakes were a little spongy, but came around with a little bleeding and wearing in. Finally got to put it through its paces Sunday. After some initial stiffness, the bike performed flawlessly. The traction this bike lays down is amazing. The clutch is nice and smooth, and the bottom end is smoother than the '04 was. The footpegs are wider now, giving a more stable platform. And I thought the '04 was perfect.........
  8. Where we ride, many times we must scale large, slippery rocks. With a 2 stroke, the strategy is to hit the rock hard at the bottom with lots of rpm, shut off and let the motor "wind down" as you progress up the rock. This provides a good amount of traction. With 4 stroke engine braking, how would a rider get this affect riding a 4 stroke?
  9. I found it! Here you go. http://www.focuser.com/atm/anodize/anodize99.html
  10. I know you will need some kind of acid, and fabric dye. I saw it on a website recently. I will try to find a link....
