I know nothing about video cards. Any stand alone USB ones the are affordable and work well? What should I look for in features? I'd like to take VHS and make digital videos. Be able to watch TV. Be able to record TV. Be able to take still shots from the videos.

Does anyone have any information on how to modify this bike to get 1st gear. My research says it's locked in second from the factory.

My idea is to register the bikes but not have all the information avalible to everyone. Then I could put out a list of stolen bikes only. This way clubs could check bikes against a list that will probably be a .pdf I'd like to do this but I want to make sure to do it the right way.

Hi Don. I beleive it! I just added the DVD burner as I was ordering the laptop. The laptop's main job is to run the laser engraver. Maybe the next one will be a Mac. It won't be a Dell!

Thanks Vin, I looked around yesterday and got a recommendation for DVD Santa. I ordered it this morning as a download. It seems to work good. Nothing fancy, and that's what I wanted. I just thought it was stupid for a DVD burner to come with the lap top with no software to burn DVD's.

I want to make a DVD. I've used Windows Movie Maker to make a couple of shorts with pictures of the kiddies and music. I now need to burn the movies to a DVD that their grandparets can watch on a stand alone DVD player. I have a DVD burner in my laptop but the software doesn't allow me to burn a DVD for a DVD player (THANKS DELL!). How's that for STUPID! Any one have suggestions? Thanks.
