January 25, 200818 yr The Tough one is on tomorrow and looks to be the best one yet. Get down there and we will see you there http://www.thetoughone.com/ Note: Read the comments about parking this year. Could get expensive!
January 25, 200818 yr I see they list Nantmawr as being in Shropshire - it's actually just over the border in Wales. ( My wife lived there)
January 26, 200818 yr The Expert race was dominated by one thing: The Atom. As he'd won the trials event and put up a time that they weren't sure anybody in the Expert Enduro event was going to beat, they put up a challenge for Browny. If he could ride the first hour of the event and stay out in front he'd take a Edited January 27, 200818 yr by bikespace
January 26, 200818 yr Author Something unexpected come up and couldn't go so well miffed Looked like it was as a good 'un too. After I saw Browny at Sheffield it opened my eyes to his potential. I knew he was good but hell he is much better than I even thought. I will go as far as saying I believe he is currently Britains best hope for a future World Champion. Go Atom As a side note, I suggest that Taddy will be earning more than Bou in a years time (if hes not already). That's trials for ya !
January 26, 200818 yr I didn't make it to Sheffield, but speaking with a group of lads today, they said they couldn't believe how good he was at Sheffield. They reckoned the results didn't show what they saw in the arena. Something special there, they were saying. This year should be a big one for him. Lets watch out for the press this week - now Knighter won the event fair and square, but if I had to write a headline, there's only one bloke who would be in it - Browny. Made my day today and a lot of other people too. I reckon there's a space in the market for a hybrid trials/enduro bike for these extreme enduro's. What's the Scorpa T ride like? I heard there was one there today, but I never saw it. What happened to it? I noticed there was a mixture of trials and enduro tyres too. The trials tyres seemed much more suited to todays event. AA, your comments on Browny and how good he is, and you to BS are you sure he's our countries next super star i was looking more at Dabill and Wiggy to carry the flag?.. Not doubting chaps but wiggy and dabill have been snapped up by TRW which i thought was a better deal then Browny on a Beta.

Acchhhh - I really don't know how he compares to the other two - I've not seen much of them, my comments were just what I repeated from people's comments today Put it this way, if he doesn't manage to get to the top in trials, he may like to try his hand at Enduro, particularly the more extreme ones.
January 26, 200818 yr Spud , how do you know if he didnt get offerd a ride with trw ? its only a hunch
January 26, 200818 yr One word to sum up today AWESOME!!!!!! First time I had ever been to an enduro event and it won't be the last. Pune, as ever, was pure genius and seemed to outclass everyone else. Wiggy and Danby also had very good rides and certainly showed the "older" riders a thing or two. Cracking event, well done to all Cheers

Browny was like a mini Bou at Sheffield - Aggressive, fearless and 'confident' too. Considering the size of the sections, he looked completely at home on them. It was just very, VERY impressive and I am sure there were a lot more people in the crowd who thought the same as me. His Dad was sitting 2 rows down from me and his grin was as wide as it gets. He was happy for sure Today it appears he's done the same ! Fair play to him TRW have signed Dabill & Wiggy based on their 'potential' to be top riders. Who's saying they have got it right? Time will tell I suppose. IMHO
January 26, 200818 yr I love it. Now you guys are getting the feeling we're having in the states. Extreme events showcase trials skills like none other. The 'who's the dude without a seat' comments still crack me up!
January 27, 200818 yr I agree AWESOME!!!!!! There were plenty of cameras around the course - Does anybody have information when and where it will be on the box?
January 27, 200818 yr I heard Sky Sports and Channel 5 had the rights to show it. But that does not mean that it will be on at a good time mind you. Sadly I was unable to go but cant wait to watch the footage. I expect we will see a few clips to appear on YouTube soon. Cheers Scott
