Hi I'm thinking about buying the new 250 what does owners think of them?

They are fantastic and until Gas Gas comes on sale, the new Sherco is a great bike.

I don't own one but the old model will be better in deep water

The airbox does look like it would get a lot more mud and water in it

I have a 2016 300 and the air filter element stays a lot cleaner than my old Gas Gas Pro did,and it's a great bike (in my opinion)

The air filter is a pain to get at if you have large hands. (get your wife/girlfriend to change the filter element   ).

 

I've put some open cell foam in front of the airbox which seems to stop any loose mud etc getting in there. 

Haven't ridden my 2016 250 enough to get the filter dirty but in every other aspect it is a step above the rear tank bikes,turning at full lock it just feels totally composed,engine pulls noticeably stronger(Thinking about adding flywheel,but will put in more time on it first) Suspension better than a 2011 or 2010(I don't have enough time on 2012-2015 to fairly judge) Very happy I upgraded(And was able to pass my 2011 250 on to a new rider)

I`d by the Scorpa. The new Sherco looks like an old bike. The Scorpa just is more eye appealing for the same bike.
