I have a 1960 C15 and it has a tube comming up from the bottom for setting the gear box oil level. Is there a dipstick available that will work from the fill plug/ breather hole? It looks like they came on the 250s in 1967 but the fill plug hole is vertical rather than angled on the later models.

Hi guys. Over at my russian bike forum an American user has posted some pics of his latest toy. Its a Rokon 2WD bike. It is fitted with an Albion 3 speed gearbox. Now apparently these boxes are as rare as rocking horse poo over in the States. Can anyone supply me with a list of which bikes had these boxes fitted and any sources for spares. Cheers

Idle thought to which any comments or knowledge are welcome. You could tie knots in the forks of my '49 350, also the front brake inspires little stopping resistance; I've yet to incorporate the advice in this forum on tweaking performance of SLS. So was thinking that if I could source say AJS Stormer forks and wheel this would be an improvement. I was thinking that they are not too modern for year of bike and should not be too out of place. Any comments on down sides ie falling foul of compliance rules or being an engineering nightmare to fit?.

Hi, My name is anthony, I stumbled across this site after researching Bantam Trials bikes on google. I have a bantam trials bike project and thought I would say hi to likeminded people! I have had the Bantam for about 20 years, it was my first bike and was very much a "bitsa" when it was first built by my dad and me! It has sat in my shed for a good 10 years so I thought it would be fun to drag it out and rebuild it properly! It currently has a few non original parts fitted, Suzuki TS 100 front forks, Fantic 125 front wheel, Home made Tank, seat, alloy side panels and airfilter! It was fantastic fun to build and gave me a good introduction to trials and was alot of fun…

Hello Rainy Sunday here in Switzerland, so I put some clips on: http://www.twnclub.ch/scottish_files/Pre65/2003_Pre65.htm I was taking on Saturday afternoon videos with my Sony Camera, but had only time after 3 years to convert them to smaller size (it's still 1-2MB). (needs highspeed ADSL to view or download) Are there more pics / clips on other sites ? Hope you are enjoying them... And good luck for coming event ! Patrick

Hello All, long time reader first time poster 😀 I own a pre65 Triumph cub with an original swing arm. I am wanting to run a modern trials tyre however things are tight down there 🤣 I understand that Feked do a trials swing arm to give more clearance however i was wanting to hear from those that have modified the original swing arm quite sucessfully without going down the feked path. Many thanks

My C15 project is at the point where I need to mount an "inside the frame" exhaust to get leg clearance. This is a 1960 goose neck type frame. The oil tank has been moved in and slightly forward. See the pictures. (The oil line is not as close as it appears.) There is a section where the pipe sort of steps up and out. It looks like it may be possible to cut and rotate that section so it goes in an down. Has anyone tried that? Or...is it basically easier to build from scratch? Any advice on either option?

Hello, im building a BSA Bantam D1 rigid trials bike and im at the stage of welding on some modern fold-able foot pegs to it. looking at where the pegs should go and the original ones are way too far forward, ive looked at my TY175 and they are now (after they have been moved back to improve balance aka Sammy miller type bolt on brackets) 25% from the rear axle and 75% from the front axle. Is there a magic measurement/percentage to give the best weight balance? Any suggestions or photos of your own mod that works would be great! Thanks Owen
