major credit to the club, the trial was spot on. shame about the poor showing when other local clubs had large entries just for club trials. dissapointing that the ACU allowed trials on the same day on the doorstep really (hillsborough, bradford). especially when barnsley received so much praise from the riders that entered the trial including Phil disney

I rode an excellent trial a few years ago (2004) which started near Torver. I think it was run by Barrow club ? single lap, lots of Lakes 2 day sections and it was late January / early feb I think. anybody know if its on this year ? cheers

Entries close on Wednesday, I have 43 entrants so far and I will update the list and put it on Trials Central for those who are interested. Unfortunately, Gary has injured his leg and it will be touch and go if he can ride - Pereneal Nerve damage. No treatment for it seemingly you just have to let it heal by itself. He hasn't ridden his bike for the past two weeks and is desperate to get back on the bike. Also we are looking for observers. If you are interested then email through Trials central. Please! Scottie

The annual Motorcycle World, which was such an innovation in its time, is a show of which Beaulieu has been very proud. It proved hugely popular and was greatly enjoyed by many thousands of people over the years. However, in recent years a number of factors have prompted a re evaluation of the show. Ongoing economic uncertainty has increasingly put the motorcycle industry under pressure, making it difficult for major manufacturers and traders to commit their budgets to outdoor shows. The rising cost of Health & Safety infrastructure has also had an impact …

  20. Did any of you guys get down there it was a good show. And the guys at my club did a good job of showing what trials is all about James
