Trying to trace history of my Tlr 250. This was registerd by Honda UK and has the next reg number after E. Liguene's works Honda(you can see his reg number in '4 stroke finale' dvd/book). It was ridden in the scottish as it has some very faint markings on the engine relating to the marking system used at the SSDT but is un-readable. Also this bike has RTL bottom engine numbers stamped and an external oil feed from front of gearbox to the head. I would like to get hold of entry list's from 84/85 to see if it might show up who owned/rode the bike? I bought the bike from John Lee m/c in 2003 and apparently it had been stored for 12 years prior to this. Any help appreciated.

For all you riders competing in the SSDT this year I would recommend you visit HERE and order youself a quality photo of ''Your Holiday in the Highlands'' I am not on any commission for pluging this only to say I have ordered a couple of photo's from Andy and they are quality, so it is worth you spending a bit of brass as it is only a samll amount of what you spent last week up there on keeping your bike going or keeping yourself lubricated in the evening on BEER!!! As Andy says the money goes back into our sport so another worthwhile reason for doing it.

Now i know the organising club, whoever they are as i have never been so not sure, for the Pre 65 event dont have a website so is there any way i can obtain a list of entries for the event? I was going to offer to observe while i was there but heard from a friend yesterday that they had offered but were told observers were not a problem. Theyre lucky then Would be nice just to see who is riding to see if i know anybody.

Seems young Jack Challoner had a bad day, putting him out of the points race, while Vasey and P.A. have retired. Hope they are ok!

The predicted tight battle for top honours at the 2013 Scottish Six Days Trial (SSDT) lived up to expectations on the opening day, with the top seven riders separated by just three marks. Michael Brown (Gas Gas) is the early leader having gone clean on day one, as he bids to record his first SSDT win after finishing as runner-up on four previous occasions. Brown has last year's victor Dougie Lampkin (Gas Gas) for close company. Dougie sits only one mark off the lead as he looks for a record-extending seventh win. It is not the first time that the Gomez family name has appeared on the Scottish Six Days Trial (SSDT) results sheets, but 2013 does mark a SSDT debut for Sandra Gomez (Gas Gas). By carrying the riding number one hundred and five, the twenty-year old Spanish female rider is emulating her brother Alfredo who also competed in this unique competition back in 2011. Hi, My brother and I are currently trying to sort out a load of bikes and parts that our parents collected over the years. We've done a bit of digging into a DOT we have and the info suggests it's 1961 works trials rep that was shipped up to Duncan's in Brechin for John Noble to ride in the SSDT. Would anyone on here have access to start lists/results from the early 60s to see if that could be true? Very grateful for any info or help. Received this as a news article, but it's not really appropriate for the news section of the site so: I am looking for a lift home on Monday 2 from the last group of sections in the trial - presumably Lagnaha - to South Manchester or a railway station in Lancashire from where I can catch a trian to Stockport. Both Alexz Wigg (Gas Gas) and Sam Connor (Beta) went unpenalised today to become joint leaders of the 2013 Scottish Six Days Trial (SSDT) after the first two days of competition. Enjoying the warmer and drier weather Wigg and Connor, who are both previous SSDT winners from 2010 and 2005 respectively, made light work of the new route that incorporated several new and testing sections.
