Dear all: I plan on replacing the rear shocks in my 1961 tiger cub with original frame. Could someone advise me about the correct length of the shocks ? Thanks in advanced

Hi, I have just bought a square alloy barrel and head, thinking it was for a DOT trials/scrambler but im not sure!! I have two heads for it which are both different, and the barrel has a chrome bore. The black head is definately off a DOT, as i took it to the DOT stand at stafford and they confirmed this for me. My TK carb is just worn out on my Yamaha mono TY. I'm looking into replacing it with the old stand bye, the Mikuni VM26. I had read that Jon S. had success with these. Does anyone know the jetting specs for a Mikuni VM26? Thank you for your help.

Hi Guys, I'm new. I live in Portugal and always loved doing trials but in a very "unpro" way. I mean I have limited time to ride the bike, so if ride the bike I often feel like it has sqaure wheels, flat tires, and it on purpose makes me fall. Anyway, I still have a brand new exhust pipe lying in my shed and don't know what to do with it. The problem is I don't really know for wich bike it is. I know I bought it years ago from a trials lover (sorry for my bad English, I'm from Belgium) so I'm quite sure it's suppose to fit on a Honda Trials bike. But wich bike? Hello guys iam stuck , i need help in the re assembley of the rear wheel spindle , bearings shims ect.. to my bsa bantam rear wheel hub which has now been powder coated and ready for the rim rebuild This is to be fitted to my c15 project , its been that long since i stripped it , i cannot remember the correct fitting of the shims and distance pieces. Hello Im new to trials bikes and trials riding but full of enthusiasm for the classic bikes,im in the midst of restoring a Montesa Cota 200 M29 which im really enjoying,it will not be a concours winner but a tidy example that i will not be too scared of using. I have just spent a enjoyable hour looking at the pictures from the Telford show (thanks for sharing them) i did not realise there was such an event so definetley on my list of things to do next year. Never heard of the Merlin in the pictures,anyone care to enlighten me on there history. Colin Leese and Alan Miles lost their bags at the recent Downland Trohy trial. Both bags had been left with the petrol cans in the carpark by an observer who had brought them back from the last but one group of sections, but someone else has picked them up. The bumbag is blue with three pockets and contains some useful tools, the camelbak has a burn on it from a bike exhaust. They'd like to get them back if possible, so if anyone has a blue bumbag and a camelbak they are wondering what to do with, please give Colin a call on 07815 977323

Hi guys can anybody help with info on how to remove the speedo drive from an HT5 rear wheel. I am used to Norton ones which just pull off. I believe the HT5 drive has a locking ring is this the C spanner ring behind the speedo drive? If yes is it LH or RH thread? Need to take it off to get my spokes repaired

Im trying to find out who built this and also would like to find any old pictures of it as im trying to return it to how it was it was registered in 1974 but I dont know by who.

Recently acquired a 1963 Cub converted to a TR20 replica complete with 3TA forks. I am a relatively light rider (65kg) and find the suspension very hard and also noisy with the rebound 'slam'. I am toying with the idea of fitting progressive springs (and possibly rebound springs) ?? The legs have casting numbers H1119 and H1120 (possibly suggests sidecar origins ??) with what I believe are a red/white marked 464mm long springs. The units themselves feel smooth and tight so I'm disinclined to dismantle them further. Any experience, advice or suggestions for suitable solutions would be very much appreciated.

Hi, has anybody ,any experiance of fitting a pair of tele forks to a square framed Dot , would like to fit a pair of roadholders but would fit bultaco as a second option .Need to know yolk offset , ie distance between centre of steering stem and centre of fork legs , also would standard Norton roadholders be ok for length ? thanks in advance Pat kean
