Hello. I have some problems with my son's beta rev3 50ccm jr bike. The bike gets very hot after some riding. I notice that the fan is not working. I tested with a 12v battery connected to the fan and it works as it should. I made a loop on the thermostat cable. I measure 21v input on the generator when the bike is running, but 0v out to the fan. Could it be the generator? Is 21v input correct?

I have a 2016 300 4T standard model. It has started to produce a little pop in the exhaust when closing the throttle from small to moderate openings. The pop is not loud but sort of echos in the exhaust. It starts, idles and runs well but has become cold blooded so needs to run for several minutes before it will take any throttle when cold started. I checked valve clearances and cleaned the carb with no affect. This is with California pump gas. Has anyone experienced this? I'm not sure if I should go up on the pilot size or raise the needle. Carb access is not great on this bike.

Is the outer boot/seal available separately for the 2017 onwards rear master cylinder? I've done a few searches and I can only find the full kit. I've just tore one clumsily fitting a new master cylinder in the dark, the batteries ran out on the flood lights. Expensive mistake if I have to buy a £25 repair kit.

The spring that returns the tiny lever end has gone. The foldable lever end now collapses. Any idea where I can get a replacement? A new lever seems overkill.

Hello friends. I’ve become the owner of a wrecked 1987 BETA TR34, which is now running again, although it still needs quite a few things to be fully finished. In any case, it’s already rideable, but I have a problem with the clutch. According to the available parts catalogues, it seems that at some point in the past someone replaced the clutch basket with a 1989 model, because mine is an open-type basket, while the catalogue shows that it should be closed around the perimeter (and based on posts I’ve read here on the forum, the closed one should actually be better than the original type). The problem is that the clutch slips at higher RPM. I would like to ask if…

Just airing this to see what you think , ran a Compression Test on my Techno 97 and got nigh on 170 PSI , whan I had the exhaust off I took a look at the piston and it looked worn and scored but this bike seems to have a lot of compression whn kicking it over and seems to pull very very well low down. Tried a 2014 Evo 250 and only go 110 PSI well it was more like 106 but I rounded up, is this right? I know it all depends on the life that the engine has had but I would have expected it to be the other way round with more compression from the Evo, the Evo does sound a little slappy like th little end is starting to knock so its goinf to have the head…

Hey first post looking for some guidance on my recently acquired 06 rev 3 had some wiring issues which lead to a not running issue which lead to me kick starting it with a couple loose bolts and cracking the inner clutch cover. replaced the cover got it all together and now have no clutch disengagement. when I pulled the inner cover I pulled the shift shaft out a bit before I noticed. i pushed it back in and seemed fine. Im very mechanically inclined just new to trials bikes does the shift shaft go into the slave and did I make a boo boo and pop the slave out?
