I am extremely excited to announce that we have arranged to have James Dabill and Jack Price to come to Ioco BC on August 5-6 to host a 2 day trial school. This is the weekend after the TrialGP event in Arizona USA. This is a chance of a lifetime to have 2 riders of this caliber in our backyard to train with and ride with. All the details will be available soon on the club website where riders can book their spot. They wont last long so I advise to jump at it right away. www.trialsbc.com

Hi Rabie, I believe your ACU is similar to our CMA as it is the only FIM affiliated organization in the country and covers a wide variety of motorcycle sports. The CMA requires riders to pay $80 to join plus the entry fees to each of their events. The closest event they put on is about 2,000km away. We also have a National group that does not have FIM affiliation but provides the same insurance coverage and its own rule book but it is all free thanks to its sponsors. Some feel putting on events for free is undermining the sport and all things FIM but we have been actually very good at collecting money to support our FIM TdN team directly instead of paying it to the CMA …

I live Idaho and I'm interested in completing in the Pacific Northwest. I've been confused for months, at first I thought WTC was the world trials championship but now after reading into it I discovered it means world trials Canada. My question is are they affiliated with each other? Can anyone tell tell what events to attend on the Canadian side of the border? Ray Rotney

As per the press release posted by the CMA, our National Sanctioning body, this years Canadian Trials Championships have been awarded to Saskatchewan and the FLTA and will be held Aug 20/21 in the small town of Bengough. It is going to be a very unique event and one that should not be missed by riders in Canada who want to experience that " European" feel without leaving the country! The entire town of Bengough will act as host to this event with many activities and festivities planned, including beer gardens for spectators, and a dinner planned for riders and workers. It's a significant event as it also celebrates the 67th running of this prestigious Championship…

After the very successful 2015 BC Provincial Trials Championship took place this year, with record turnouts at venues like Squamish, the participating clubs are please to announce the schedule of events for 2016. We are proud to include a new venue and club for next year, and welcome the South Okanagan Dirt Bike Club. This will see member Ricky Styles and his crew treat all of the riders to a much welcome return to an important part of the province, and an opportunity to show off the clubs great riding in the OK Falls area. Being a 2 day event also distinguishes a great chance for the riders to enjoy some excellent terrain, but also take advantage of some good fun. The Sa…

The forum on the Trials Canada has been closed. One of the issues on that forum was that every time a person wanted to talk about anything trials in Canada it quickly became a debate about the Pros and Cons of the different organizations. In attempt to put an end to that I am suggesting we use this thread for such discussion and can simply refer to it instead of having the same arguments in every new thread opened. We will need to police this ourselves but I suggest when ever a person feels the urge to slam or promote a trials organization we can refer them to do it in this thread. People who would rather not partake in the discussion can avoid it. I also suggest we k…

All riders in Canada have now been automatically directed to TrialsCentral forums here, Due to the fact that one of the trials websites in this country, has decided to remove its forum altogether. Sighting constant problems with spam, upgrades etc. Interesting enough, that over a long period of time, people who have wanted to post responses were faced with the response of " forbidden". This is unfortunate. It is quite humorous though that it became not worth the work to correct things, at the same time as some constructive and perceptive comments were made about the enigma known as the "WTC". No, that's not World Trials Championships, it stands for world trials Canada. …

We had a great training day with Jonathan English on the 12th followed by our Drive to Ride event on the 13th. since there is no TdN team this year the funds we raised for the TdN team will be put aside until Canada participates again (hopefully next year).
