I see anyone riding off road in BC Victoria need to sport a BCORMA trail sticker price $30/ year even on the clubs own private property. In Oregon we have the ORV tag which costs $10.50 for two years, and only applies when you are riding on state forestry property, on private property used by our club, which is the majority of the events each year, no sticker is required. Both California and Washington states honor the Oregon sticker as we do thier sticker. If we come up to ride the PNTA rounds on private property and have to pay $30 plus entry fee per rider to ride on private property, is it fare to charge your riders $30 extra to ride our events ?. Or would it mak…

  5. The first two rounds of the 2011 Canadian National Championships, sanctioned by WTC, were completed at Summerland in British Columbia on May 21 & 22, 2011. A total of 65 competitors took part in the weekend's activities, with a third of them from outside of British Columbia, lending a truly national flavour to the two trials. The results leave Thomas Cordner of Victoria, BC in the lead with a margin of just one championship point over Jonathan English of Foxboro, Ontario. The $100 daily prizes for lowest loop scores in the Champ class were won by Jonathan English on Saturday and Thomas Cordner on Sunday. Dave Rhodes did a great job organizing the event, with the sc…

We regret to announce the passing of Don Clark in Vancouver BC, Don was the owner of Mountain Motorcycles, and along with his two sons, Bob and Brett, Imported Beta and Sherco Motorcycles. He was also the Importer for Gas Gas until 2006. - Don was a keen Trials fan, and kept up to date with all aspects of the sport, he had by far the biggest and best stock of Trials parts in Canada, and maybe North America. Many well known riders had stayed at Don's home in Coquitlam, including Jordi Tarres. - He passed away Aug 15 after a short illness at the age of 74. Our condolences go to his wife Hazel and the rest of the family.

School girls in Canada at war over control of non existing, flailing sport. Little brats sporting banners of WEC and CMA rip sport apart and show their ugly colors. Web site used to blow sunshine and push wares, hurl nasty comments at the opposite side and hide behind the muse of informative site. Older girls prancing around pretending to be ambassadors are seen by many to be putting the final cut in a dying breed. Those who oppose the large commander are banned and shunned, why it

  9. from the: Canadian Trials Consultative Group (C.T.C.G.) The C.T.C.G. is in the progress of being formed and will be initially comprised of one representative from each province however BC and AB will have multi reps during the start up phase. How the group functions, its future structure and mandate will be decided democratically by the group once it's up and running. Quite simply the group will discuss trials related issues and of course each representative will bring these issues back to their provincial riders for feedback. The C.T.C.G. has no decision making powers and is consultative in nature. Initial provincial representatives to get started are: Ontario -…

I see that there are Four Canadian riders in the SSDT this year, the largest contingent for quite a while. - The best known of these is Stan Bakgaard, who last rode the event in 1984 finishing 13th on a TY 250. - Stan will be mounted on a Sherco for this year's Trial.
