The first two rounds of the 2011 WTC Canadian Trials Championship, were held in Summerland BC this past weekend with 58 riders on Saturday and 48 on Sunday. - The long ( for Canada) loop and natural sections took points from all classes with Will Duggan winning the Champ Class on Day one ahead of John English and Thomas Cordner - Ex UK rider Steve Foord grabbed 4th after fixing a puncture and getting caught out by a late shower of rain that made the rocky sections very slippery. Sunday was another close battle at the top, with Thomas Cordner winning and Jon English another fine 2nd place, third on the day went to Kelowna rider Brandon Wince. - The next two rounds of the …

We will be holding this Trial on Easter Saturday April 3rd near Vernon BC Canada to remember our old friend Adrian who passed away on January 2nd in London England after a long battle with cancer. Ady lived in Canada for a number of years, and was very well liked as a man with a big sense of humour.

The Canada Pacific Trials Association (CPTA) is in the process of applying for a western Canadian Motorcycle Association (CMA) National trials championship two round weekend event. The planned dates are May 14 and 15th, with the planned location being Squamish, British Columbia. The CPTA has a working policy to support trials development in Canada, and the CMA, through its affiliation with the FIM, provides the link for riders whose goal is international competition. The CMA expert champion is automatically seeded to the Canadian Trials of Nations team, an event that brings together the best riders from all around the planet, to compete for their country. If succe…

Well another great year in the Maritimes After 3 years of putting on 3 day indoor shows in March we decided to give it a rest this year. It was kind of nice not having to worry about it and I had a great trip to BC to do a bit of skiing and see some of the West coast (I even had a chance to see some Trials riding on Vancouver Island. We typically have our big training weekend with Jonathan in the spring but the spring didn't work out this year for Jonathan (but he was able to get over to the SSDT for another top Canadian finish). We decided to move the training weekend to September. Our 5 events were well spread out with 3 in the valley one by the Halifax airport a…

Hi All, Just wanted to thank everyone that came out and supported trials riding in 2014. Special thanks goes to NSORRA, WTC, RPM Cycle, Beta Atlantic, NSDSC, The Outdoor Show, Jonathan English and all the riders that made the year a ton of fun. We had a great turnout for the outdoor show this year and I think the head to head competitions were a hit with both the riders and the thousands of spectators. Every year we have put on a different type of show and have a bunch of fun during these 3 day indoor events. Now we just need to dream up something for 2015. The training day with Jonathan English was sold out early and for good reason. Just watching a pro level rider…

It's now only two weeks until rounds one and two of the Canadian Championship Trial on Vancouver Island in Beautiful British Columbia. - The weather in BC is quite mild, and most riders have already got in lots of practice, except for the Eastern riders, and this includes current Champ Steve Foord who emigrated from the UK last year. Steve lives in Calgary. Alberta, and at the moment they are suffering with a spring snow storm. - The Shawnigan Lake area, where the Trial will be held, is a Trials rider's paradise , with tight trails, and lots of big moss covered rocks. The Clerk of the course for the event, is multi- time Canadian Champ, Steve Fracy, whose son Matt …

Built a short notice spring trial to help feed the black fly population this weekend, details can be found here: https://www.ataont.ca/ata-arden-trial-may-5th-2024-pre-entry-required/ ... and yes it's an Arden trial and they are forecasting rain so it is going to be a very hard event.

Told 08 was to be the last running of the Terra Nova, a Canadian event I always said I would do but never did, this being possibly the last running I thought I had better go. So I let my mate Adrian Lewis know I intended going and it might be an event he would also like, he in turn got his mate John Harker to join the team, and Fri night before the event they showed up at my house after a ten or so hour drive from California. So 5:30 am sat morning the three of us set off in the Chevy astro cruiser headed for Vancouver island, a four and a half hour drive to Port Angeles up past the scenic Olympic mountains, then a 90 minute ferry crossing from Port Angeles to Victoria…
