I read that guys are purchasing the 2013 clutch pack. Is this the whole clutch assembly from 2013 bikes or is it just the "2.1mm intermediate plates" from the special parts catalog? What does the clutch upgrade do? I have a 2012 explorer with 2.5 hrs on it. The clutch seems fine, but shifting is poor. Up or down, any gear, Whether its running or not. It is hard to get into gear.

Sorry for another daft question,but I've nearly finished the rebuild i wish i hadn't started. have just received a new countershaft sprocket which i ordered specifically for it, it has a shoulder on it.( talon TG375 ) The one i have just taken off hasn't so theres not a lot of threads left for the nut soo frustating, can anyone confirm the talon sprocket is correct, and do i need to get another sprocket spacer.

2015 TR300i Recently purchased this bike and had a hard time starting it. Fuel pump was suspect and was the problem. After replacement the bike fired up and ran perfectly for 10 minutes - until it stopped. No spark, tried different plugs - nothing. Do these bikes have a weakness in the spark creation department ? Anything come to mind after an engine removal but ran for 10 min after install ? Not enough time with this bike to know what the go-to's are. Everything seems to be plugged in and secure. Pulled a coil off another dirt bike but still no spark. Blue/black wire to coil does show a voltage signal on a digital meter when moving the kick starter.

Not restoring. Building a resto mod rider. Trying to keep the 73 theme though. In regards to the aluminum parts, I am not 100% certain on what parts get polished. The fenders /mudguards are plastic, so those will not be polished. Currently I have polished the front and rear rims, front and rear hub ignition side cover, lower fork legs. Next will be the brake backing plates, and clutch cover. These items I am not sure about if they need polishing or a brushed type finish. Triple Clamps? Clutch and front brake levers? Lever perches? Sheet metal aluminum chain mud guard? Skidplate? Rear Sprocket? …

Hi all, I need advice about getting shims for the crankshaft on my Gripper 350. The bike had a nasty banging sound when I got it. After opening we found the crankshaft had to much movement (left to right) and the weight has been rubbing on the clutch side cover. We suspected worn mains and I have oppend up to change them. Now having dismateld I have found that one of the shims on the crank is so badly worn that its breaking up. On one side there are 2 shims and on the other there´s just one but I think this may be orig. as they did them individualy as far as I know. Anyone got an idea where I can get replacement shims from ?

Does anyone please know the bearing sizes or numbers for a 250cc OSSA TR77 so that I can have them to hand ready for the rebuild, Mains, bearings & seals, are both main bearings C3 type Gearbox bearings & seal Frame steering head Front & rear wheel bearings

Hey everybody, I've been searching for the right flywheel puller for a few days now. I need to pull the flywheel off of my 1972 Ossa 250 MAR. Im pretty sure that the thread is 26mm but i have no clue what the pitch is. Does anybody know where I can get a flywheel puller for this bike?

Hi all, I have a 2012 tr280i and cannot find anywhere at all; the stock suspension settings, static and race sag and suspension travel, if anyone could possibly help I would be forever grateful ! I have checked forums, even emailed ossa and asked and had no reply. Thanks in advance

The 2015 Explorer I recently got was worked on by someone that should not be allowed anywhere near one of these- heck any bike at all. Due to some issues from previous wrong assembly etc, I wanted to pull gearbox. There are very small screws with a 3mm allen. Why so small, I have no idea. They are plenty big for a much larger head. Anyway, one of them had the allen stripped by the person, another the allen wrench broken off. Fortunately, I came across this before and the fix was easy. I found some small mounted stones that I could use with my Foredom dental handpiece. I connected up a vacuum to get away as much grit as I could, and made an opening in the clutch hub…

Hi, just joined site and hoping to get some help putting a tr280i back in the mud. I absolutely love the bike and the engineering, but spares are proving elusive! I need a gear selector shaft for a 2011 as when taken apart the posts that holds the rollers that goes in the selector drum on one side has snapped off! Any help pointing me towards a new shaft will be much appreciated thanks guys Pete

Does anyone know the correct torque settings for the upper and lower triple clamp bolts? The Owners Manual doesn't seem to specify them?

Recently purchased a 73 MAR and a 72 Pioneer. Will need help refurbishing them. I'd say restoration but neither bike will be brought back to completely original. I'd appreciate contacts to used parts, any pics of authentic bikes, owners manuals and so on. Any and all help greatly appreciated. Tried attaching pics with no luck

Hello people, I'm tidying up a few wiring issues inherited from previous owners and I've hit an issue without an obvious solution. Can anyone tell me what the MIL wire from PIN22 on the ECU is supposed to do? It's currently connected in a very nonsensical way and I'd like to understand how it should be connected. Does anyone have specific knowledge? I've a loom with the six pin diagnostics connector and the easystart system if it helps. Failing that, does anyone know what happens to pin 22 in the cases of a fault and no fault? Thanks in advance. Cheers... Paul

Hi, can anyone recommend how to remove the wheel bearings on my 1975 mar? I made the mistake of painting the hubs before I realised that they needed renewing I usually use a hammer and brass drift but before I attack them I was wondering if there was an easier way. Also what gauge are the spoke nipples? The spokes have polished up alright but the nipples are a bit mankey so I thought that I`d replace them. Cheers, Nigel.

does anybody know where i can buy a new fuel fitting that threads into my carburetor? This bike’s a bar find so some parts are missing off of it. My bike is a 72’ OSSA 250 Mar
