  1. Good luck, you'll need it! I bought my lad the older Rev 50 a few months ago and have been watching eBay for a Junior 80 ever since but with no luck. I've also been checking out the posted Results of local trials (see TC front page) to see if any are listed at the bottom in the usual 'For Sale' section...
  2. "This town aint big enough for the two of us!" springs to mind
  3. Give o'er, I reckon even you could manage to clear some messages from your PM box
  4. The only issues I can think of for the first couple of batches into the UK were sorted under warranty by JLI's I believe. The barrel/head studs expanded when the engine got hot so they leaked a bit of water. A few kick starts snapped although if you're buying an 07 bike, it's either a good 'un or it's already been replaced Cracking bike

    Beta Drowned?

Did you check the airbox? Empty it and clean the filter. Stand the bike on the back wheel and see if any water comes out the exhaust Strip and clean the carb thoroughly Change the oil It's not the water that's the problem but the grit and silt in the water so you need to do a proper clean up job
  8. Whatever happened to Live Chat! Did it get abused by some reckless, feckless individuals? Ishy, clear your Inbox down I need to send you a PM, ta...
  9. Is it a Michelin or Dunlop tyre? Michys always have been a slack fit!
  10. Just saw this clip of Eddie Kidd on the BBC News website. It's sad to see him like this but fair play to him, he's a fighter!
  11. Good choice, it will sell easily if he gets bored and wants to move up. Just found this on YouTube from 4 years ago!
  12. He said he's riding the SSDT in 2019 to celebrate Mairi's 30th!
  13. Hmm, I did wonder the same thing when he 'parked' up! http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/36299-7-year-old-son-advice-please/
  14. My 9yr old had his first outing on the Rev 50 yesterday and did really well with the clutch. I dropped the bike through the forks 1" and rolled the bars back slightly to make it easier for turns. Just need to bring the long clutch lever closer to the bars and it will be spot on for him. I let him slowly release the clutch while I was on the bike a couple of times (no throttle at all) and then he had a go on a big flat field. I jogged alongside him for a minute and then left him to it, he was stood up and buzzing around with a huge grin on his face all afternoon. He crashed into a fence and trapped his thumb right at the end of the day which put a bit of a dampener on it but he's still really keen to get out on it again next week. "I parked it Dad!" By the way, he started off on the Oset 12.5" and then the bigger 16" version which he recently grew out of. Great little bikes to get going on, anywhere, any time...
  15. Mini-K' dropped his Rev 50 yesterday and snapped the exhaust off its bracket. I left it in for welding this morning and collected it on my way home. I'm
  16. Found venue without the sat-nav, impressed? Great way to spend a Wednesday evening, almost 60 riders turned up I believe. Didn't see a Fantic though?
  17. Prize? I'll be happy if I can find the venue! Anyone got the sat-nav coordinates or a postcode?
  18. I had a look at the Evo 80 at Acklams today but it was far too big for him. Called in at the Ripon youth trial on the way home and noticed that the Junior bike with its medium wheels would mean he would be riding the harder route, no good for a beginner so I'm now looking for a 50cc rev 'n' go for this year to get him used to a bike. Maybe upgrade/upsize him next year, back to eBay for now!
