I'd been refreshing the page dozens of times on Tuesday and nearly had heart failure when I noticed that it had been updated
I couldn't read it quick enough then disappointment kicked in when I realised that it was an update and not details of the entry list
Oh well, I'm a patient kind of bloke (any more of this suspense and I'll end up being a patient in a straight jacket)
-
Traction control
ABS
Sat Nav (for the longer lap)
Unbreakable plastics
Puncture proof tyres
Electric start
Adjustable stabilisers
Safety net
-
I'll tell you one thing, he landed hard on the sump (front bit) no suspension to ease the landing!
Oooh, I reckon his teeth rattled a bit
Looking at the position of his arms on the photo, I'd say that his bars were snapped at this point. (ouch!)
-
I really enjoyed the commentary but must admit that I cringed once or twice at some of the comments
Jarvis going down the PJ1 bottles: -
"If he doesn't get the front wheel just right, he's over the bars for definite"
Raga struggling for balance: -
"Whats he wobbling about for, what a wally!"
Shaun Morris lining up for his 1st high jump: -
"He doesn't look very comfortable"
Fuji on the white boxes: -
"Look at his back tyre spinning, he's not going to make that jump is he?"
In their defence, I'd say they did a cracking job in egging the crowd on - I'm sure the riders appreciated all the cheers. The banter/p*** taking between them also added a bit of fun.
Good job done by all, roll on Sheffield 2005
-
Mmm, might struggle a bit but I'm sure he'll get into it before the night is over. He's good at hopping and flicking the bike so, good luck to him.
Did he ride in the 'Red Bull' trial at Manchester 2002? Can't remember!
-
It's a tie - let 'em both ride Sheffield
-
Do you wear your gloves nice and tight?
I used to pull the velcro straps together too tightly, which restricted blood flow - not a lot but enough to make a difference.
Thanks to Dan for the tip, it also cured cramps in my hands too
Try it and let us know how you get on...
-
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to All
:hat: :santawink: :madsanta: :snowman: :santa1: :beard:
The kinell clan
-
If I get in I'm going to scratch "www.trialscentral.com" into the soles of my boots and get Andy to sponsor my dabs
-
Bloody good question, but I don't want to read/hear the answers until May 9th 2004
-
Me for definate!
For 2004 I'm going to follow Marky Boy's example, set in 2003: -
1) drink loads the night before
2) not sleep (transit van!)
3) wake up feeling crap
4) face the world looking like sh*t
5) ride really well
I reckon I could do 1 to 4 no problem, it's number 5 that'll be the challenge
-
Fast action throttle tube (white plastic) if you haven't already got one.
-
I'll be there with with a few of the local boys (25+)
-
I've had a pair of Novogars for over 2 years and they're still in good condition. I usually jet wash them and throw them in the garage till next time - never oiled them once.
They were looking a bit tired this morning so I gave them a good dousing of gear oil (last weeks oil change). Two inch paintbrush and lashed it on.
They looked and felt great, smelt a bit funny but boots are boots right?
-
Mine must be faulty then!
-
Talented young fella with big balls on a proper bike - enough said :hat:
PS
Good luck for next year
-
Maybe, maybe not...
Sam will be on a different bike which might be a factor in the early rounds.
It doesn't really matter though, as long as it's Dougie, Grimbo, Sam & Shaun in the first 4 places :santawink:
-
I spoke to him not long after he won the Junior championship and he said that he was definately moving up for 2004.
Good luck Shaun, I'm sure you will do really well :santa1:
-
You spelt "tw*tted" wrong
-
-
Thought I'd set up a poll to see if our votes tally up with the ones at http://www.indoortrials.com (we can see who is winning as the votes come in)
-
http://www.webbikeworld.com/t2/bead-breake...ead-breaker.htm
Probably wouldn't do the sills much good
-
