Had a Techno 200 in 1999, it was ace, only realized it was a bushed small end when I put a 250 pot on it. Did not make much difference , if anything it made it less forgiving to ride...

I keep recommending them to everyone , So I have bittenbthe bullet and bought a new one..... Well happy...

200 fantics need a bit of reving , not everyone's cup of tea. Saw a chap at bath classic in your situation. 200 Beta it probably "THE" so it all bike.

Quickly for the techies , has the Beta evo 200 still go small end plain bearing ?? Is it now an official Beta (or a lampkin mod?) With a needle roller?

To much is easy to de-tune, not enough is hard to increase.... But we are all guilty of over biking.. The beta 200 was one of the best trials bikes I ever owned... May even get another now I am 50!!!!!

My 2006 4rt has never missed a beat. And the bike isstill worth well over half of its purchase price. And still gets in the awards at club level. Is there even a 2006 gas gas still running?? And if so is it even worth a grand?? So Fi on a 4t seems more than reliable. I drowned mine when it was almost new. I was a bit nervous that it would be ruined. Followed the.normal dry out . and it has never let me down..

I think Doug wanted to develop the 4rt (and damn good job he did, along with his team) he could of gone back to a 2t for any manufacturer, they would of torn his arm off.. Proof of the pudding is the fact the 4rt has never been beaten in WTC... IMHO he is the man for the job at vertigo. And it looks like they want to be bib and braces sure of the bike before its released. But nothing will be able to test it for the weekend warriors lack of maintainance,poor servicing, mechanical abuse.... Only time will tell. I just hope it will be good at normal non WTC type trials aswell. No bouncing just "Real Trials" !!

Dabill on the new bike will give it a propper debut , we know what he can do. Let's see what the Vertigo can do Good Luck....

I would buy one, but got stung really badly with the 320 sherco 4t, so as a few people have said , may be best to wait a bit. If someone spends a fortune , and ivests loads of time developing their ideas, give it a chance. Time will tell. PS dabsters still a key jocky then!!!

Hi, heard all sorts of yays and nays about the 280. Has anyone lived with one (or two) and decided to keep with the marque ? Good and bad points , pref from owners ! Its near the top of my list. Over 50s clubman level rider.

New build . but with an Indian bullet motor. It seems to be the only way to build a reasonably priced bike. Going to do a model G style rigid with telley front end.

Are the 260's readily available in France??, and is there a price difference..Would be interested to find out.

Had one since 06, never missed a beat, build quality is second to none, best mods I have done?, 1st place twin map throttle body, Mild and Wild(never use Wild), one tooth off the front sprocket,Titanium front pipe,all restrictions out except the one on the tail pipe. still fires up first or second kick, or should i say push!! Its the only trials bike you can strip and re-build again and again, for maintenance, and not have to replace all the bolts. But as others have said it does ride a bit different to a 2 banger. You wont be dissapointed, just give it time .

Oh No,that means I may have to spend some more money that I havn't got
