  1. lastplacebrad ALL the riders in moto gp are fourstroke and all the winners at the open class mx gp are fourstroke i am not doupting mr ragas ability ,but could he still win on an old twin shock (the last really big change in trials) dont worry we will see the real state of play at the first real trial to coin a well used phrase "indoor trialing is just a play in a shed"
  2. JTT i think rossi did what doug is having to do ,he was bored with honda so came out on the under dog and still won. lets see what happens when they get in the mud' I wish the other manufacturers had all gone fourstroke ,so it would be a level playing feild hey canada is still british isnt it
  3. Is this years indoor championship really relevent ? We all know about the spanish, creative marking decisions ,and the crowds fair support ,and how they took to the rostrum at the last trials des nations But what about not turning up on 4 strokes this year ? It seems some of the smallest companys have tried really hard to get bikes out but not the current champions? Funny that what will happen next year, I wonder

    Sherco Four Stroke

I have been told i should see my bike around the 19 feb, they have been testing it for nearly two years so it should be pretty well sorted allready,it is supposed to be a couple of hundred quid cheaper than the honda,as for getting a pro why stay in the past,
  5. I tried busters idea with the grass last nite, ready for my trial today,Now there is a big squirrel living in it and its not giving it back
  6. r2w.I use a bottle of cheap hand cream to seat my tyres. It is inert and goes off tacky but not hard,I use it on my road bikes as well, with no ill effects.and it is easy to apply fron the spout.
  7. Looks real compact is it a 750cc ? it might just fit in my old enfeild
  8. I could sell you one cheap but i think the freight charges would be a bit pricey,in the west country (uk)the scorpa is a verry popular mount,i think because of all the thick mud.plus they dont self destruct like the gassers.(sorry gas gas riders but you know what i mean)
  9. Windfall, the scorpas with the yamaha engines are verry smooth and torquey,(old school ) but fitted in bang up to date chassis ,wich makes for a verry usable trials bike, i have had 3 in a row now,the last of wich is a fourstroke 125,i ride clubman rout and still have the odd win on the little one.if you dont plan on winning next years world champs, they are well up to the job,for that matter the old rotax engine one is still going to be cheap fun,but as i remember they were quite firery and a bit fragile in the engine department.
  10. A lot of people seem concerned about the volume of the new breed fourbanger pipes, dont any of you ride when there is a pre 65 class? You colud hardly call a triumph trophy or a cub for that matter quiet, but the noise they create is marvelous,I cant wait for a new banger (still wringing the kneck off my scorpa 125 f,poor thing,i am 17 stone)

    Four Stroke

have spoken to r2w,i am in somerset,i will try and hook up with him for a play soon, there is a new venue on the mendips for practice,at a small charge, it is well worth a ride.
  12. Any coverage is better than none ,I DONT CARE WHO COMMENTATES,or if the boxing goes on a bit longer,It was good to see the fourbanger do so well.
