  1. Thanks for that BS What happened to Simon Evans
  2. I spoke to Geoff at the WTC for the first time and he was polite and courteous and gave the impression that he had time for everyone. Top man in my book The beave wasnt there for me to give an opinion
  3. Good ol' ACU. Finger on the pulse as usual
  4. What a dumb question
  5. Yes, to ignore a user, look at one of his posts then click on his name in the box on the left. In the options that come up select 'ignore user'.Done
  6. Yeh, I can see thats the case, after I spent some time chatting to a few 'dudes' over your way it was evident that theres only a very small minority interested in the WTC from a riders perspective. The statement that came coming up was why aim for the world rounds when there is no paycheck untill you make it.By then you could have forked out many thousands of dollars so recouping that investment would be tough.Geoff seems to do alright doing his shows so maybe its us that have it wrong?
  7. There is one BIG thing going for this idea and that is it saves having to fund the costs of the Minder.
  8. I asked Lane and he said that did not matter. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What does he know
  9. Yes, second lap on Saturday. My comments above were about sundays laps of course
  10. You obviously have had some bad experiences with some youths somewhere along the line Rabie but why is there so much ill feeling towards youth trials as I know you're not the only one to feel like that?
  11. Well forgive me Ishy but I thought it was YOU guys that were moaning that you cant produce a World Champion with the system etc that you are using. Dont bother me who wins the thing to be honest. I just like watching their extreme riding whoever they are.
  12. Seriously, That trial where those scores were taken from was a National and was very hard. I would think some of the guys would say it was harder than the sections they rode at Sequatchie
  13. No Mate, thats my Job
  14. Why do so many Merkins (*) think that the youths are all bankrolled by the factories? * "Merkins" copyright George Dubya Bush 2004 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well said that man!
  15. It is coz the answer is obvious and what you expected to hear and that is wouldn't go!But.. then again it depends on how bad you wanted to be world champ. If so, you would seek sponsorship and all other methods at your disposal to generate the funds to accomdate the travelling.
  16. At the TTC/WTC Sequatchie, there were some old bikes on display so I quickly took a few shots of them and here they are below.
  17. I always thought that steps would be the things you were strong at for some reason. My simple observation would be what let you down was the ability to get grip going up them slippery banks. I would suggest you get James Lampkin or Steve Saunders over to help you out.
  18. oooops yeah, it was the Experts he beat! He is having a purple patch but who else at 16 years old do you know rode with the same domination he is enjoying at the moment with so many other good riders about? Thats a good point but who decides when the rider is ready to go up to the next stage. For example, Alexz was attemting a 10ft step in practice at the weekend without no fear. Nearly always in practice, Ross is riding bigger stuff than what we see in any championship thus far. Doesn't mean he will get up it but the point is he always wants to push the limits of the machine and his skill level.I bet thats the same for most of the youth riders wouldn't you say?I say ask the lads what they want to have a go at then put it in.
  19. While we on a thanking mission here. Thanks to team Smage for helping us out with a bike for Marcus to follow Ross round. Thanks to those 2 dudes camped by you for lending me a guitar so we could have a full on jamming session. That was great that was Thanks to craig for the Beer Thanks to the presenter for the practice arena for making us laugh so much when Rob Andrews was doing one of his vertical wheelies with his left leg sticking out by saying, " Watch this young Man, he sticks his left leg out to tell us hes going left!"
  20. The ACU would be accused of abusing their power, or making clubs perform the role that the ACU should be performing - supporting our talented youth. I can almost hear you saying it <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Damn right dude btw, The midland centre enforces those stupid centre team events and stops anyone else from riding at the same time in the centre. Is that abusing power?
  21. Wiggy beat Jarvis at the Mitchell the other week riding the same sections....(Edit:This is wrong - see below) and everyone else come to that ! Someone else mentioned to me the other day that why doesnt the WTC have a pot to ride for? Then it would make it worthwhile to enter.. only problem! wheres the money going to come from! Why would it be a good thing not to have a WTC?
