hi guys whats the best way to ajust my clutch on my 350 199A i have a work shop manual it says bottom the clutch ajust screw and undo 3/4 and then tjghten the locking nut is that ok? cant do anything yet till i put the wheels on just got sum off ebay so when ive got them on and put the chain on then i can try the clutch hoping its just a littel tinker and not new clutch plats but if i need new plats then she will have them allso dose anyone know were i can get a stronger headsteady ive got new one on from bultaco uk i know sum have a blob off weld in the middel but ive seen a better metherd on a bike on here to bits off tube with flat ends and it looks like it strong just wouldering if anybody knows off a place what makes them? and is an igntion file ok for cleaning the points? just one other thing how do i wire a second condesser under the tank? cheers bondy

hi can you tell me about my chain ive got a sherpa 350T the chain is a new one 520 front sproket 11 tooth rear 39 tooth will i have to take links out or will i be abel to ajust the cams?

hi do you have to inform your insurance about carrying a bick on the rack i know what there like if they can get out off paying you they will no but there ok ripping us off every year

uve made my mind up dave cooper it is we have a peugoet 406 salloon hdi will this be ok? the other question is i know you just need a standard two bolt flange towbar what do i ask my local towbar fitter do some towbars take more weight? thanks for your addvice

hi all im unsure witch to get rack or trailer im going down cornwall next year with my bult would a bike rack be ok all that way or would i be beter off with a trailer? thing is my wife will be driving as i dont not sayin she cant drive ??????? ah ah but im just thinking with a trailer might be abit scary

hi yes i ment 106cc in each leg thats with the sae 10 thats what it says in the work shop manual i got from bultaco uk. is sae a higher spec fork oil is that why i need less im just gessing

hi all how mutch oil do i need to put in my sherpa 350 forks ive got castrol 10w fork oil allso whats the best gearing ive got 11 tooth front sproket what should i get for the back? ive been tojd 39 is the standerd would this be ok for geting up hills? im onley just starting to trials so i wont be going up any great big mad hills not till i get use ive just rebuilt my sherpa 199A just wating to get my wheels cant wait to try it got it runing needs tinkering with but cant do mutch till i get the wheeels think the cluts will need setting im praying it wont need a new one but if it dose ill cross that when i get it running by the way is it easey to put new clutch plates on im thinking of getting the barnet ones if i need them would i have to get a clutch holing tool?

hi bj i got my bully started today ive put new coil on he fired up affer a few kicks got some wheels off ebay be affter chrimbo befor i get them but im just smilling for now cheers for your help

hi mate i havant fitted std bushes but i have just fitted the converion kit witch i got off bultaco uk found it simpel to fit sorry dosant answer your quetion

hi all can anybody tell me how to get a good earth? ive took the coil off and sanded the frame down to metal ive put coil back on its a beter spark but think it should be beter my new coil should be hear tomorrow from bultaco uk the old one is rusty and the bolts would it make diffrance with the new coil and bolts? allso would a front wheel off a purstang m8 fit my 199A

hi all ive had problems fiting my headsteady i got a brand new one off dave at bultaco uk but when i tryed fiting it it was slightly to long had to make it fit by bending it as anybody come across this problem? the old one that came with the bike was allso bent ive tryed loosening the engine bolts but still didnt work dosant look like the frame is bent can anybody help

thanks alan i dont think its earthed proper i had it resprayd i did sand it down but on the wrong side think i need to sand the other side down to the metal the side were the coil touches the frame ill have a play with it at the weekend thanks all for your response ill keep you posted

tanks for yor addvice ill try and clean it whats the best way to clean the jets? a did buy a brand new bing carb from spain would i be beter useing that one ive had it on once and when it wouidnt start a thought it might be with it being new would the new carb allready set up or will it need ajusting?
