  1. Do they use DOT 4 fluid the same as the brakes?
  2. Think I may need to bleed the clutch on my SY. Only had time for a quick look at it, has anyone done it?
  3. If memory serves me right the sump plug is 13mm. I had the same on mine, I hammered a 12mm socket on it. Some people weld various things on to help too.

  5. I would be interested to see if the trial would ban folk that cheat. Does swapping bikes like a certain famous Sherco rider from Spain count as cheating? What would happen to the odd one or two riders that get lost and end up going a different route to the flags and find the group? Would you be banned as a 'cheat'?

  8. Do you like bike maintenance? If so buy the Sherco! Monts are a solid bit of kit and anyone who say's they're too heavy etc is talking a load of you know what!

  13. The SY is now on to it's 6th year? Just wondering how long Scorpa plan to make it? Is there life left in the bike? Has anyone heard if they intend to sell it alongside the 250F? Also, are they planning to release an 07 and if so has anyone picked up any infomation as to the spec? I really like the black wheels etc on the 06 and would be interested to know if Scorpa intend to keep them for the 07.
  14. I don't know that there is a 'standard' setting to be honest. My bike came with with pre-load and damping set to zero on the forks, I think the damping was zero on the rear shock but can't remember what the rear pre-load is but I've put quite a lot on to stop it sumping out, mind you I'm a big lad too! If I could offer some advice, wind it all to zero and ride a couple of trials. Tweek where you feel it's needed. I ride with everything on zero bar the rear pre-load and it's fine. IMHO, most riders don't really need to mess with the settings and to be honest it could do more harm than good. I would say that it's of benefit to riders at the top of their game but for the average clubman a bike with no tweeks will work just fine.
  15. The flat sump guard would be nice but not essential. You could buy one anyway and add it at a later date if you want. The biggest change for the SY was the 03, do a search in this forum and you'll find a topic.

  17. If you need specfic bits then there'll be someone who can photocopy for you. I would but I'm working away from home at the moment. I seem to recall Big John picked one on ebay sometime ago? You could try finding him on the member search and send and email/PM?

  21. Putting it to the dealer is great... Apart from the nearest dealer to me is about an hours drive!
