Whats everyones thoughts on this ?
I'm not over keen on the colours but if you look at what you get extra for the couple of hundred quid over a std bike its a bargin

Agreed, I had a beta 4t which started to pop and fart an bork out under load took it to beta and they sorted it out but couldnt tell me what they had done to sort it as they had done a few things to it which was the last straw for me so I changed it for an Ossa, I had two Ossa's with no issues with the injection system on either bikes, and I'm having the same experience with my vertigo
-
tcrhino, what year bike have you fitted this insert to ?
-
tcrhino, whats it like getting the rear shock off the bike ?
I've had all the back end apart and the swinging arm off but not the
shocker
-
I've had another look and the bolts looks a lot more worn than it is
I think it may be shadow on the photo I took. but checking yours
wont do any harm
-
I was changing my rear wheel and I’ve noticed some play in the rear end which is coming from the bottom shocker bolt, I tried to tighten it up and it turns out the bolt has snapped
-
I'm not convinced I'd be getting a much better bike than I have already if I changed mine,
Plus I know of someone trying to sell there Fajardo replica as he's bought the DL12 and
its gone from £5250 to £4995 and now its £4795 which is a massive drop for a bike
that was £7300 about 16 months ago !!!
-
I've had a bit of a tweak on the front end and I'm now just trying it out.
I know someone that totally changes the front fork springs and oil
but I'm not sure I want to go that far. I only find it a bit harsh when your
knocking on from section to section. I've heard that the DL12 was a bit
gutless and flat with out the new programable ecu fitted and some
adjustments made
-
speak to Andrew Jackson at Jacksons Shoes in Mirfiled he replaced mine for
me I did have you source the soles, which you cant seem to get from anywhere
in the UK.

I've changed the seal for a new SKF one and had run round on it
for 20 mins or so and it didnt leak and hasnt since so touch wood
the new seal has sorted it
-
Do these seals just come out with the shaft in place ?
-
Got to give it a try, it will do my head in leaking all the time
-
-
Mines never done it before, but I have had an issue with oil coming out of the breather pipe in to the airbox, I’ve now got two breathers fitted one on the kick start side where it should be and one on the sprocket side where they where on the earlier bikes and that’s stopped it coming out the breather
-
I’ve got a small oil leak coming from the seal around the gear shaft, it’s on the vertigo parts list as a lip seal is this just a standard oil seal ?
-
And it was reasonably priced compared to the 17 ice hell
-
Maybe so but at the moment I’m not changing mine to lose a big chunk of money, the bikes spot on in every other way and I’m sure I can improve it to what I need
-
the DL12 only has the 2 way reiger shock and my fajardo
has a few extras that the DL12 dosent have on it
-
I've never been weighed in my full riding kit, but in my birthday suit I'm about
200lb, I've had a look in my manual and its all in there it does also say that the
rear shock is set up for a rider between 70 & 80kgs so pressume the front is the same
-
Yeah I’m only wanting to adjust it and not replace anything as neither end bottoms out, but they do feel a bit on the stiff side so I’m wanting to soften them both off.
I use to set the rear end on my ossa by the sag method which seemed to be ok
-
I’m looking at doing some suspension tweaks on my bike, I just feel it’s a bit firm at both ends, I’ve had it about a year so it will all be well bedded in. It’s not something I’ve done before I tend to just get used to how there set up but I feel I need to alter mine now. Any advice would be great
-
vertigo uk list a titanium rod for the rear end

-
just to add the 2018 Vertical bikes only come with one map as standard and you need
to get the GET ecu and app to add more, but the 2018 Dougie Lampkin replica bike
does come with a mapping switch and 2 maps as standard you can then get the GET
gear an modify them
-
I didnt realize I was going to have to protect the protectors
I've hard carbon bits from other please and they have lasted ok
-
has anyone else got any of these Kelly Carbon guards fitted ?
just I've had mine since early Feb and ridden 6 times and there
already starting to wear through to the fibre layer
