There is a breather pipe that ends up in the air box but I’m haven’t had chance to see where that comes from, and if your a bit gung ho with the pressure washer you do get water in the air box so it may be running down the breather pipe ? I also have a heater in the garage that’s timed to come on for a hour or so three times a week to dry boots but it’s also pointed at the bike which is kept under a pair of thick lined curtains so maybe it’s getting warm and then cold and that’s causing the condensation?

Went out yesterday and when I got to the venue I noticed my oil had gone milky, it wasn’t like that when I last rode it which was a couple of weeks ago, I’ve changed it yesterday and checked to water level and it’s fine, anyone got any ideas why it’s done it ?

I had mine back to vertigo as I couldnt get the tick over as I liked it
one minute it was ok the next it was racing, they found that my airscrew
wasnt where it should have been. but I'd never messed with it I only
alter the tick over by the throttle stop on the kick start side so i dont
know if they can work loose
-
I'm not over keen on the rock oil, its that light you struggle to see it through
the sight glass, where the red that came in it from new you could see a
mile away
-
I've just been looking at the spec on the rock oil I got with my bike and it dosen't match the
castrol one that's in the manual, the rock oil is also nearly clear so its a pain to see it in the
sight window as the red one that came in the bike you could see a mile away

all depends on the size of the van, if its going in backwards you could always get one of these
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Apico-Factory-Racing-Motorcycle-Trial-Motorbike-Bike-Floor-Stand-Black/302456535791?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
mine goes in forward and then i put a stand under the sump guard and then use those X straps to
strap it in, thats in a vivaro

I've found the code for the front bearings, my next question is do I just but good quality
bearings or look at getting stainless steel bearings ?
-
Thanks, I’ll get some more ordered are the front ones the same code / size ?
-
Right I’ve got the spacers out and on my main wheel the bearings where ok just lubed them up and popped the spacers back in, now on my spare wheel one bearing wasn’t bad but the other one was shot so I’ve put some new bearings in but I’ve noticed the ones I had in the garage where 6004rs and the ones that came out where 6004du does anyone know what are the differences are between them ???
-
have a good test ride on it as I know a few people that have had/got 300's and there a
bit on the lively side shall we say, no disrepect to you as I dont know you level of riding
but I have a 250 and its plenty
-
thanks Peter I've just ordered a bearing separator, once the spacers are out are the bearings easy to remove ?
-
I've tried that and there stuck fast ????
-
Is there a nack to get out the rear wheel spacers as I like to pack the bearings with grease but I'm struggling to get them out
-
this is the sheet I got with the bike from Vertigo UK, I have always just used map
three as that's what Nick at Vertigo uses, when I thought about the price of the
Ice hell model and the extra for the Fajardo it was a no brainer I think I've got More than
£300 worth of extra parts on the Fajardo model, plus I'm not a big fan of the gold casings
on the Ice hell model, and heffergm the Fajardo models did come in a 250cc

fantastic bike, very well built with some nice touches and easy to do the basic stuff like
change the air filter, nice to ride, easy to start and after coming from an Ossa
it feels very similar to ride very smooth and grips well, and every time I ride someone
comments on how well it looks, and I cant fault the service form Vertigo UK its second to none.
I only have one issue and that's when you stop the bike it always reverts back to map 1
which is taking some getting used to having to select the right map before riding, but I can live with
that when the bikes so nice
-
no I have luxury of being able to get the castrol transmax oil in the uk
which is in the vertigo manual, when the bike comes from vertigo uk
it comes with a bottle of rock oil which is one of there sponsers, do you think
that the factory will have done all there testing using the castrol ?
-
I've now fitted a standard number board over the headlight
and used a couple of strips of rubber under the board on the fork
legs to level it up the best I can, I've also used reusable cable
ties as I'm not keen on the look so I can remove it and only use it when I need to
-
thanks I shall have a look at mine next time I get it out
-
can you up load a photo of the area of the bike
its located on ?
-

-
its not as easy as that there is the light switch, mapping switch, map light, temp light
and vertigio have said not to remove any wiring
-
whats everyone done number board wise on there bikes ? (to hold you riding number)
I rode this weekend with it gaffer taped on but it was a bit held
on with a wing and a prayer. I know Vertigo are looking at
getting one sorted but just wondered what anyone else had done
-

fasten the seat base on to the frame, off ebay
