Long Time No See
Ello Stranger! How do?! As you'll see, R2s band of merry men has been expanding almost as fast as TC!!! BTW...I've got a TC fleece.

Pre-65 Entry Forms
I wish I could answer....but I'm nowt to do with the P65 so I can't! I'm just defending them because I know how much time and effort they put in, and how little thanks they get for doing so.

Pre-65 Entry Forms
Hmph! I liked all your opinions until this thread! Does anyone actually ASK the organisers about all these things, or do you just all gurn about it to yourselves? As Totalshell has already pointed out, there's a clause at the bottom of their form which states that none of the exclusions listed apply to any compontent of any machine which you can prove to be a pre-65 original fitment, or could you not see that part for all the steam coming out of your ears by that point? They're a brilliant bunch of guys out there, and they're in it because they love these bikes as much as you do. Get up there, have a blether with them and enjoy yourselves...it might improve your humour by next year.

The Acu Registration Card Discussion
Er....because they don't grow on trees? Who do you think should be paying for them?!

Pre-65 Entry Forms
Oh, I stick to the rules alright! However, I've got nothing to do with the P65 trial - I'm only posting the entry forms on their behalf of as they don't have access to do this themselves yet. I know absolutely nothing about P65 bikes so can't even pretend to comment for them...sorry! What I can tell you is that the trial is run by a very small team of extremely hard-working people who give up their own time and money to make sure this event goes ahead year after year. No matter what they do, they're never going to be able to please everybody, so whilst you're free to give your own opinions on how you think any trial is run, spare a thought for the guys and girls that give up most of their spare time for nine months of the year so that you can have your couple of days in the hills. Daylight hours. It's the same with the SSDT - we could easily fill double the number of places we've got up for grabs, but we have to make sure that we've got time for all the riders to get back in daylight - and remember that includes observers and backmarkers who have to wait until everyone is off the hill. Believe me, if we could take more entries, we would! It would save us a whole lot of grief!

Pre-65 Entry Forms
For those of you who are entering the trial rather than slating it, the entry forms have now been added to the main SSDT article on the front page...

2007 Ssdt
Cheeky sod! P65 forms have been on our site for the past two years! AND I posted last year's results as soon as I got them....typed them up myself actually! Hmph....

Scott Trial For The Spectators
Oi! I take umbrage at that! I was particularly careful, and YOU were eating them too! Hmph.
-
Scott Trial For The Spectators
Yer alright - we're only winding him up! He's got nae mates this year, so if you're brave enough, go for it - it makes all the difference going to sections with someone who knows where they're going (and where to park!)
-
Scott Trial For The Spectators
We are, but we fullly expected you (in your role as chauffeur) to hang about until the last man was off and then deliver us safely back within five hours. And as for the spare seat...I think you forgot about Em!!vvOnly kidding btw, am going to try and get my heap of a car round the main sections myself - have enrolled Perce's kids to help push me out of the mud on the start field... Will you miss us? I like your thinking!
-
Scott Trial For The Spectators
Hmph! Take it we're dumped this year then?!
-
Sad Loss For British Trials
That's him! On a personal note, we'll really miss Mr P around the office in SSDT week - he was always keeking round the door on his way past with some nonsense or other, winding us up or someone else up. He always had time for a laugh no matter how late he'd been on the hill or how early he'd been out in the morning - the place won't be the same without him.
-
Tdn Teams
For once, I agree with BS! How's about a "Thanks very much for making sure we hear about it first" to John instead of a gurn about how it's worded?!
-
How Well Do You Know Me?
He's in denial....
-
How Well Do You Know Me?
I'm not as daft as I look you know! I'm claiming that prize methinks!
-
How Well Do You Know Me?
It's a trick question - the bugger HAS no spare time. But seeing as I'm at my wits end trying to get one of these t-shirts, I'll give it a go and opt for an educated guess at option 3...stained glass window painting. BTW, where the hell did you come up with some of these hobbies?!!

Honda Cubs In The Ssdt ?
