Hi My Gara 260 did the same at about 5 years from new ,so pulled apart the crank case halves, and found small pit holes in water pump tunnel. put some very good goop that worked for 8mths then started leaking again. then got our beta importer in NZ to get new case halves put together. mint for 2 years, but same thing happened yet again. it sat in my shed for 16 years , until I saw the light and got a 09 Raga 300. now the 260 has a TLR 250 motor in it, best thing for it. Raga throttle cable is longer than a std txt, as I,ve seen both from our gasgas guru in nz the long fits my 09 Raga with a Keihin carb as std ome part cheers Wakka

Hi huski Drill out the thread in gear lever and put in a 6 mm helli coil or recoil as others call them , fit a good grade bolt HT 8 , I do this to farm bikes and have never lost a gear lever from coming loose works a treat Cheers Wakka

I started with this system over 20 years ago and its never failed me yet. I've got 2 small pieces of plastic (with a hole big enough to fit over the neck of the fuel container; the fuel nozzle and cap locks it down), one green and one red, glued them together. On the green I have 'mixed' and on the red I have 'not mixed' (burnt into the plastic with a soldering iron). so when I have straight fuel I turn the label over and it says 'not mixed'. when I have an empty container I turn it over on 'mixed' and have oil in it and all I need to do is put fuel in it. so simple. regards, Wakka

Replace the disc Rotor you have over heated the steel, it will never be any good good luck
