  1. get a go pro chest mount best mount there is! check this on my 125 08 racing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xe2r6WyFB_c
  2. Very unlikely as its a different frame:/ Buy it mates rates and sell on eBay for more:) (it's just cos I am tight I am 13 lol)
  3. Hi jimmie sorry for the late response! Best bike I've ever ridden! Down in our woods it was under water-it was just bog! My friend Went down on my 125 couldn't get up it!(it is very steep and has a sharp turn before and virtually no run up.) I had a go on the 300 and got up it no problem! I did things down there I could only do in the dry on my 125. And the best part it barely went past 1/5 of revs! instead of having to thrash my 125! I love it;)
  4. it would make the power very sharp and insatnt we tried the same with our 290 sherco and reverted to original. good luck:)
  5. it sure was! thanks!
  6. The beta and sherco are fine IMO its just gasgas! But they are the best bike!
  7. Hahaha! That rocky track i was riding down goes on for about two miles through more fields and a patch of woods at the end with some huge hills in! I will try and get some of that nextime;)
  8. they are designed for trials so they are not going to be the most reliable things ever built. but should stand up to a bit of trail riding. (just be smooth and gentle). i ride mine round our fields pretty quick and have had no problems-but theres a big clunk going from 4-5th. the last thing on gasgases drawing board is reliability and strength- they want it to be light weight so they have to cut down on things like a reliable engine thats heavy. and go for a small weak one instead.
  9. just putting around on my 08 125 racing.nothing special just riding around and trying out different positions on the camera. the garden is a mess at the moment as were having lots of work done. remember to turn it on hd! thanks ben http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xe2r6WyFB_c
  10. 'what did you do to your gasgas today?' Buy another it's an '11 300 we love it!
  11. My dealer recommends on a 125 to change the piston every year. Because they are give such a hard time as they have virtually no tourque. On bigger bikes there should be no problem;)
  12. I would drop the oil from the bike every 3-4 'longer rides' (a trial). The oil you want to use should be fine. If you are in the mud run 4psi in the front and 3psi in the back. On rocks up each one by 2 psi. Fuel should last a good few hours if not ridden like an mx bike! Pistons are rarely needed to be changed on the bigger bore bikes (250 on) but change it when you loose compression. Clean and oil your air filter every ride! Good luck and welcome! Ben
  13. gasgas uk recommends putoline light gear oil and that's synthetic and they dont have any problems and neither do i. i was told by my dealer that gasgas and ossa recommend gro extreme. so i think that information was from a while back.
  14. Oh ok
  15. Great ill give it a whirl
  16. Do motorcross bikes have the Same kinda wet clutches
  17. You have coolant in your oil. This would leak from the waterpump into the gearbox. Your water pump seal and possibly shaft if it is worn. It's a very easy fix. Put in YouTube- gasgas waterpump repair and click on gasgas USAs videos. You can do it yourself you just need a pair of snap ring pliers. Here are the parts http://www.trialsuk.co.uk/products/gas-gas-txt-pro-water-pump-seal http://www.trialsuk.co.uk/products/gas-gas-txt-pro-water-pump-shaft It's best to do the shaft as well even if it doesn't have grooves in( this means it's worn) so they wear at the Same speed. Also the seal won't last as long if you don't put a new shaft in. hope this helps
  18. So do you. Think this is alright to uSe in my gearbox
  19. Were talking about gearbox oil here lol
  20. So is the Mobil 1 supper 2000 10w40 stuff be alright?
  21. It's costing me £6 a change and I ride regularly
  22. I use the putoline light oil but I am rather tight myself and looking for something cheaper.
  23. That's what I want to hear:) Anyone else's opinion would be great!
