Acu Insurance
I would of thought a possible way round this problem would be to state on the regs that the road is not part of the event. Dont call it a road trial but a multi venue event. Stress that numbers must be covered whilst on the road as this is not part of the trial.

Wheel Bearings
On some bikes this isn't possible as the centre sleeve can't move to one side to allow a punch any access. On this type I use a socket that fits tightly inside the bearing. Tap on the end of the socket which then uses the spacer to push the opposing bearing out.

Bash-plate Rubbers
Some sockets have a bit on them that doesn't actually do anything, ie; the first few millimetres. Try grinding this part off so it bites the full length of the bolt. I probably have one done already if your stuck. Also as has already been stated use a non metric socket to get a tight fit. Ring me if you want it doing.

Hillsborough Christmas Trial
Very good trial. Very sensible sections. Some of the best land in the country. Well done.

Take A Look At Trials
Wonder if there are other sports where you come home from taking part or watching and don't know the results!!!

Swinging Arm Damage
Its always best to locktite sprocket bolts. Sometimes I have noticed that the thread of the bolt does not come through the plastic locking ring in the nut so not giving adequate security. I would think a second mortgage will be needed for your swinging arm replacement . Best to get a professional welder to look at it first. It should weld without a problem.

Wallace Cup?
Yes the novogars are supposed to be easier this year. The Vic Brittain was a doddle this year Once bitten. Twice shy.

Spain 4: Britain 0
Who needs a world round. The new Sheffield format was way better than the present world champs format. I hope Sheffield goes its own way and leave Octagon to self destruct!

Scorpa Problems/concerns
1..Gear changing difficult. Sounds like someones been changing gear without the clutch!!!!! Don't even think about it. Get it checked by someone who knows what they are doing. 2..There is nothing in the middle box to repack. 3..Repacking the silencer is a problem. Just doing mine at present. It needs cutting open and repacking then welding up. Might be easier to buy a new one. 4..Cracked casing. If it doesn't leak leave it.

Colmore Cup
I haven't entered in case it was anything like as hard as the "Vic Brittain". Way out of my league. Are you saying it will be a hell of a lot easier than that trial was?

How To Fix A Tubless Rear?

New Indoor Rule
The indoor series is for the public to pay to watch the worlds best riders perform. Giving the riders 3 minutes to repair their bike and not allowing a spare bike is a poor idea. To knock Cabestany out of the first round surely was not what they intended. He's Spanish!!!!!
-
Fisher Trial
Have to agree with Eiger Excellent trial. Not as my score would mirror that!!!! Good sensible sections, 2 minutes of roadwork, 20 sections all observed. Almost a national for

Possible Dangers Of Unleaded Fuel.
A fair number of riders at trials will sit through a queue of 10 riders or more with engines running till their turn to ride the section. I doubt if they realise that there is any hazard. Perhaps some advice from the ACU would be the way forward.
