i think i'll do the loctite method with my 2011.It's not making any noise,but it won't hurt it and i don't have a spare transmission.I might drill a small hole in the plate while i'm in there to aid in complete oil drainage.Anyone have a sugestion as to where to drill it?

I've used a good square drift punch with great results.Take your time tapping around the circumference and once you get them started,they pop right out.

All fixed by "Grand Valley Specialty Welding".

Got the old bushing out.Made a tool to tap it out from the opposite side.Found a replacement on the SKF website (PCMF353916 E) Now to find one in my vicinity next week.

Thanks oni nou.But i can't find anything to do with the rear wheel bushing on that link other than the Ossa part number.I'm looking for the SKF number.

Does anyone know the SKF size or part number for the rear wheel sprocket side bushing on the TR280i. I'm not interesed in maching the hub to accept a bearing.The bushing is fine.

Looks like you found the problem.That is exactly what happened to mine.You may have to reseal the crankcase cover to avoid a leak.(very bad) Be sure to loctite those screws with blue loctite.

I had a strange no start issue a couple of years ago.A long shot,but you never know.

I'll second that.My daughter and I a little while back.

+1 for that heater.I use one in my insulated 23ft x 20ft garage.Heats it up to t-shirt level in about an hour when it's -10c outside.

I have run 90/1 in my 2011 tr280i and switched to 130/1 with this season being my second.No problems whatsoever.Loaded my gear up this past sunday and didn't take my daughters TY175 because she was away.After a good warmup and a couple of loops i stopped to top up.Ooops....i topped up with the TY's 32/1 premix But ya know what? It ran perfect.Not really any smoking that i could notice.Starting was the usual 1st kick.But it did smell funny because of the Ipone strawberry scent.

The bolt to the rear of the shifter is a motor mounting bolt.The drain bolt is ahead of and below the shifter.

Having had my aluminum exhaust in my hands while doing maintainance,i was shocked at an Ossa dealer when i picked up a Termi unit.It didn't feel any lighter,if anything it might be a bit heavier.
