Try second gear from cold My 4rt clutch would not disengage (was like that from new) But the dealer rubbed the plates, and it now works fine Bleeding the clutch may also help

hi alcoholic steve o its true i did purchase a piston and rings for 01 315r they are sitting in a box in my garage i ordered after reading the manual and the age of the bike but the rings were gummed up after a good cleaning the piston and rings were put back the bike did not ratttle interesting to hear you have had prob's with both 4rt's
