They're a main dealer but maybe they don't know the 4rt that well? To be honest everyone you speak to has a different opinion on the subject? You stated earlier that you removed one restrictor? Which one was it? PS. I find these days when you ask a question on a forum, people would rather spend time criticizing than being helpful and there's lots of thread hijacking as well. What happened to the trials community that was very helpful when I took up the sport 7 years ago??

Hi, thanks for your replies. I have spoken to the dealer where I got the bike from and when it was PDI'd they only removed a restrictor in the throttle body and sniped a wire. They advised me to leave the exhaust restrictors alone, as their team rider rode the SSDT with them in and to be honest if it's good enough for someone at that level it's certainly good enough for me ...... P.S The 08 4rt is quieter than the older 4rt's I have heard.

Hi, I have just got a new UK 08 4rt and was wondering about the exhaust restrictors ... Will the internal ones have been removed on PDI ? If not, do they need removing or leave well alone ? I have removed the external restrictor on the end of the silencer, should I have done this ? Thanks for your help ....
