Hi, I need some advice on the Evo 2009 v's 2010 ?
I rode the 2010 Evo's, 200cc, 250cc and 290cc at the BVM test day and thought they were all good,
but, are they worth paying over

Hi JonnyBoxer, If you do eventually buy and 08 4rt, be careful when you come to sell, because you may get people ringing you up and arranging to come and buy and then they don
-
That is a crock of S***
You'd be lucky to get that on p/x on an early 4rt when buying a brand new bike off them .....
Some one's a stranger to the truth
-
Hi, I have emailed you the manual,
Darren
-
Hi, that price is with a chain and data tag .....
-
Hi, does anyone know of any other companies that can insure a 4rt for theft etc.
I am currently with Carole Nash (off road policy) and the renewal is

Hi there, I have emailed you a PDF of the 4rt manual ...
Darren.

Have you taken all three restrictors out of the exhaust.
They made a big difference to my 2008.

Any one know where I can get this oil from mail order (UK only) ?
Tried BVM today but they haven't any in until maybe next week ?
Thanks.
-
Hi, sent mine to BVM in stroud. It was leaking and the motor was cutting out when pointing downhill.
I posted it to them from Lancashire and it was back in 2 days.
It cost

Hi. does anyone know of any other legal practise ground around Rochdale besides cowm at whitworth ?
Cowm is fabulous but they don't let trials bikes in on the last Sunday of the month.
Been to Hawks Nest but it's a bit too advanced and Bumpy is too small.
Any info appreciated ???
Cheers.

True, and we've all had friends where 'their art is counting the other fellow's blessings instead of your own. A.K.A Covetous'
look that one up
-
They're a main dealer but maybe they don't know the 4rt that well?
To be honest everyone you speak to has a different opinion on the subject?
You stated earlier that you removed one restrictor? Which one was it?
PS. I find these days when you ask a question on a forum, people would rather spend time criticizing than
being helpful and there's lots of thread hijacking as well.
What happened to the trials community that was very helpful when I took up the sport 7 years ago??
-
Cheers Jimmy, thats what I needed to know, just wanted my 4rt to be running the best it can be, not the loudest ....
-
Hi, thanks for your replies. I have spoken to the dealer where I got the bike from and when it was PDI'd they only removed a restrictor in
the throttle body and sniped a wire. They advised me to leave the exhaust restrictors alone, as their team rider rode the SSDT with them in and
to be honest if it's good enough for someone at that level it's certainly good enough for me ......
P.S The 08 4rt is quieter than the older 4rt's I have heard.
-
Hi, I have just got a new UK 08 4rt and was wondering about the exhaust restrictors ...
Will the internal ones have been removed on PDI ?
If not, do they need removing or leave well alone ?
I have removed the external restrictor on the end of the silencer, should I have done this ?
Thanks for your help ....
-
Thanks Ralphy and tt5th, will take it easy and do the oil thing .......
-
Thanks for your help .. much appreciated.

-
Thanks for the info guys .....
What are the 08 beta 4 strokes like compared to 08 4rt's ???
Cheers.
-
Anyone know when the 2009 4rt is due to be released ? Any news on changes ?
Wanting to buy an 08 4rt but is it worth waiting for 09 ? Is the beta 4t as good a buy as a 4rt ?
Any help appreciated ?
Thanks.
-
thanks for all your replies !!!
Having looked more at the second hand market there is only a 100 or so quid between some
05's and 06's.
I think the 06 would be best for me.
Cheers.
-
Please can anyone tell me the differences between the 05 and 06 250 Beta.
Is it worth paying a few hundred more for an 06 ??
Thanks.
ps. I am upgrading from a 2002 Montesa 315r.
