Sounds like the british had a good night at sheffield, its a shame that dougie didn't get his first ride on the beta at sheffield! but he had a good result anyway, well done..

Hope he gets them back, i know what its like to have a bike nicked, and the police just don't give a s**t.

It does sound more electrical than fuel, look at the obvious first
Check all the electrical connections, clean the earths, check plug, cap and coil lead. if these don't make any difference get the coil, cdi and stator checked with a multimeter.
The thing that makes the problem harder to find is that it's a stinkin intermitent fault!!!!

but the scorpa did well at the trial, very pleased with the bike.

I think youll have to take you rims to a machine shop and have the parts milled out.

I can't remember which plug but when you find out buy a spare.
When i used to go out with a friend who had one , every now and then it would just kill a plug!! not very often "about every 6 months" but good to have a spare just incase.

I think the repsol version looks sweet, but the standard bike looks a bit odd??
like they forgot to do the exhaust and a few other bits?

i had a similar problem with a 97' techno i had, but never found anything wrong with it, it just fixed itself!

Has he pulled the throttle cable out a bit accidentily??
Check the slide is free in the carb, if you flick the throttle you should here it clunck back down when you leave go??
Have you got spark?

I know what you mean, up on the mountain up by us got completely trashed by idiots from everywhere else!!!!! motocross/ pitbikes and lots of losers with scrap bikes and no helmets! !!
