One is propelled a lesser distance at a given throttle or RPM.
-
Guess these would not work?

The air in the forks compreses as the fork travels up, acting as a secondary spring as the forks compress.
Reducing the airspace by increasing oil height would seemto me to have a more signifigant effect at near full compression whrer the space would be reduced.
Increasing spring preload will effect rate throuout range.
There are limits to both in spring coil bind or hydroulic lock, but you could play with say adding 20ml or so which is going to reduce your airspace when compressed a fair amount I would think.
-
Finding exact TDC is key. Using your guage, find a mark at say 1mm both before and after TDC. then split the difference.
This will eliminate error due to piston dwell in the top of the arc.
-
I think derailment by objects would be the biggest culprit!
-
-
There is about a 10mm difference in the lengths that came in at some point. Add there may be differences in springs that prevent it from fitting, reguardless of orientation.
Long story made short, why would you?
-
Oh, God help him!!!!!!!!
Has suddenly decended to the level of whale excrement!
Perhaps a bit of peter puffing will prevent the prevailing trend from proliferating his pervert status!
-
I have not seen the one done by Dan. Sure it has it's own appeal, yet Ryan's first seems to be the classic.
Get both!
One can always e-mail RYP to inquire? Maybe he is out at the moment, yet me thinke the bigger deal might be him finding time to to to the post office for a parcel to the UK!
Busy Boy!

Set with the strobe at idle because it advances when revved beyond 4k rpm.
Either way, you need to accurately establish TDC as a referance. Do you know how to find that?
-
Bad thing about this is now the top securement bolt is now further away which leaves the SS to take full impact of a wadded chain.
-
Oh i am sure it does, point being the stocker is close, and Chris's pic possibly suggests the clearance may be reduced slightly from my estimated 3-4mm down to 2-3 with the bit heavier linked chain. No big deal in itself.
On the pics of the new bike, seems tome that there is a little change, sure the fitment problem due the hose entry angle going into the slave cyl. and screw pattern ????
Sure Chris knows more specifics.

Apparantly his banana suit photos cought up with him. The word "Titanic" comes to mind!
Surely he is not a real twink, he would have started a GSSDT(Gay SSDT)club by now.
-
Glad to hear you had a good time, Glenn! Ryan is a Hoot!, with something all can come away with.
Did you let him on the Fantic? Would shock you what he can do on one of them!
-
No need to remove motor, sounds ok, though you need to order in the special Viton seals if possible, day or two in the post won't kill you.
Get a clutch cover gasket as well in the case the original tears during removal.
On second thought, if they told you to remove the motor, you might want to select someone with more Sherco experience, such as a local dealer or experienced rider.
-
No point if the only importer on the contenent won't send a bike! Costs me to drag it about!
-
I think the Suzy was on top the Honda at that time, brill commuter, top speed listed at 126mph off stock, but had mine over 150 with the mods, fas enough for me, as I don't really even like going faster on a mod bike. Must remove beer cooler on back at those speeds!
She was a looker too, with a little fairing up front, 4 to 1 and all. Motors were well built!
-
As you classify this noise as slight, not sure you should be overly concerned about it as these motors do have a fair amount of mechanical noise, as with most 2T motors and untill it was evaluated by an experienced gas gas rider I would not panic.
-
Balance not required!!!! Sounds as though you need to hook up with the lads up there!!!! Good bunch. Ck on the trials Canada forum or contact Dave at Dave

Anyone ever had the soles replaced on the Gaerne boots? Apparently replacement soles are available, yet I am wondering about what adhesive should be used.
I did speak to a shoe repairman and he was a bit standoffish about the prospect?
-
Have you inspected it for a split in the carb inlet rubber?
-
The standard bolts are inexpensive from a Sherco dealer. Look fine for a year or so.
I usually replace the outer case 5mm bolts with stainless just to keep them tidy!

Best to order you a pair of the Viton seals fron Chris at Splatshop.
Seals come out the sides with clutch side and magneto removed so requires some tools and expertise.
