So true its scary!
If u have the time and patience for this one, it's absolutely funny. read and enjoy and pass it on to folks like us!!! lol!!!
By the way...aka BTW....this holds sooo true for me!!!
Electronically-Challenged Seniors
Things are spiraling out of control. I think I have become lost
in a world of electronic madness.
One of my sons informed me this week that my cell phone has
become obsolete and I must head down to the cell phone store
and get a phone that is contemporary with the time.
I pointed out that the fancy razor/slimline phone with camera
built in that he made me trade my perfectly good flip-top
Motorola cell phone for two years ago still works perfectly fine.
Well, except for the camera thing. Never could figure that out.
Even the few times I actually did take pictures I couldn't figure
what to do with them and gave up.
That is except when I would push the wrong button and take a
video of the ceiling or my feet.
Seems the issue is that I am unable to text with the tiny little
3 character buttons. "Hi, son," would come out looking like,
"Gh Qmo." My grandkids have even spoken to my wife about
Poppa

Zipper, get me some tissue!
I would not mind throwing that into my I-pod love songs mix, if i could get the I-pod to work!
I tossed the I pod I got from daughter, screw that! I tunes = I want more money!
I just have a radio! I don't have to buy anything! And I don't have to mess with it much, as there are 5 presets, 2 are not used!
Consider yourself lucky I was clicking enough on the other crap on utube to get what I got, still cannot seem to copy the soundtracks, so basically useless junk unless I happen to be on the computer. Reminds me of another post I will supply!
-
They are going far too quickly!
-
Ok , then back to basics, switch off the carby. With the lot on the tank and all, just not sure. Ck flow to the carby when this happens by pulling the inlet line to the banjo fitting. Should p*** well.
You did double ck the carby ? and banjo screen?

-
I think they still have 5 pence machines there if one looks hard!
-
The cost of ammunition here has at least doubled or tripled, thanks to the Obama's. Yet more fun than fireworks! One could probably burn off a week's pay in about 5 min on the range!
-
I have looked at the 125's , had one untill couple years back that I would ride club events on, rather than the big bike, and have ridden the ones newer than my old '03.
Bottom line, they are good trainers, yet must be ridden with more aggression and skill in the revs, throttle and clutch control because they have little torque off the bottom, must keep the revs up, rev/ pop, rev/ pop.
This is all fun, yet in reality I am finding myself far too lazy for that riding style(old and out of shape)! They just don't mix any longer.
A good 200 or 250 is just easier to ride!

Would be a sweet place to have a World Roound! Red Dirt up the mountain!
-
And going back to Hendrix, this could be the ultimate rendition, by Vie!
Still hate it when guys sing!
All this does do back to the free love and free whatever days! HERE
-
Yea, well then, hopefully nothing else overlooked!
Did we discuss the fuel tank vent hose? When the poor running happens, can you pull the hose off the cap and have pressure escape?
Seems I did see one that seemed a bit too long and got pinched off due to routing and installation of the fuel tank on it!
Not being able to hear it run, just another idea!

This is cute story...
Elephants Never Forget?
In 1986, Peter Davies was on holiday in Kenya after graduating from Northwestern University
On a hike through the bush, he came across a young bull elephant standing with one leg raised in the air.
The elephant seemed distressed, so Peter approached it very carefully.
He got down on one knee, inspected the elephants foot, and found a large piece of wood deeply embedded in it.
As carefully and as gently as he could, Peter worked the wood out with his knife, after which the elephant gingerly put down its foot.
The elephant turned to face the man, and with a rather curious look on its face, stared at him for several tense moments.
Peter stood frozen, thinking of nothing else but being trampled.
Eventually the elephant trumpeted loudly, turned, and walked away.
Peter never forgot that elephant or the events of that day.
Twenty years later, Peter was walking through the Chicago Lincoln Park Zoo with his teenaged son.
As they approached the elephant enclosure, one of the creatures turned and walked over to near where Peter and his son Cameron were standing.
The large bull elephant stared at Peter, lifted its front foot off the ground, then put it down.
The elephant did that several times then trumpeted loudly, all the while staring at the man.
Remembering the encounter in 1986, Peter could not help wondering if this was the same elephant.
Peter summoned up his courage, climbed over the railing, and made his way into the enclosure.
He walked right up to the elephant and stared back in wonder.
The elephant trumpeted again, wrapped its trunk around one of Peters legs and slammed him against the railing, killing him instantly.
Probably wasn't the same elephant...
This is for everyone who sends me those heart-warming bull**** stories.

Dell Deals: Treat yourself to a sweet deal on popular laptops!

Should be nice weather that time of year for a nice stroll in the desert!
I would think you might wilt just making it to the car at about 110+f. Hits you like a blast furnace !
Yet if you have not done it, I would still recommend the day trip to Hoover Dam, quite a specticle and nice and cool down in! Take the tour!

Yep, whether the channel or the sky, horizon to horizon must have been an awesome sight! For a german at that time! I am NOT anti german, Hitlers policy took its toll on far too many people, and totally un neccessary loss of life. It is a great shame, yet neccessary at the time the carpet bombing of Berlin and such. Much could have been avoided, yet I still doubt the russians would settle for less.
I think above all, it is almost impossible to realise the total scale, coordination and logistics of such things. Supplies were low , yet they kept on! I can patch it up and put you back in the air for tomorrow!
These days ,there would be too many lawsuits if anything went wrong! God forbid your aircraft makes an emergency landing an takes out a flock of Afgan goats! Would cost us more than the friggin aircraft!

Start over! And be sure there is no water as well!
Clean carby is a happy one! Take it off carefully ans see what you catch when opening it over a glass bowl!
-
Good win for Alexz!!!!!! What are you feeding that kid?
-

This is not a good sign, Biff!

One would almost think the French government would pay you to remove the lead poisening. Must be tons of it spread about!
Seems I recall it was some of the smaller cemeteries going to pot, in that show I seen. Sure seems many there to pick from. I think it was all the way up into Belgium, not sure.
Another major project (and tele) was done on the finding of them damed "floating" tanks that were drown in the channel. Screw that, wheres me friggin air bag. Seems most were lost in the sea becoming better subs than tanks. Laying in the mud! Times were difficult!
One thing I think I found of intrest in that RAF film stated more than 700 airfields scattered across England? I think that was the statement? That could put one very close to EVERYONE! (am an old airfield buff too)

How do you ck it? Drain and refill with 450ml, I like about every 10 hrs of operation, or whenever running deep water, whichever comes first!
-
Yea, doubt it is the flywheel woodfuf key, as once sheared they don't recover on their own.
Sounds like time to pull the stator plate and send it to Steve at Motoplat UK unless you are able to find an exchange unit? Thought I heard MRS had some, yet not sure.
-
Looks to me like a well set course for the Pro's, all things considered.
Getting 15 out of Pat is like pulling teeth, otherwise things could get really bad for the others, as there is a divergence here if Smage has a good day and a tough course he is a WTC JR class machine.
Looks like we will have a good TDN team this year! Support them if you can!
-
Ah well, just as well you did light off the muff, as if it did burn a lot there was lot of crap in it! Yet it is surely sounding more like the stator breaking down under heat.
I wish there was an easier way!
I have the specs if you want to try and ohm things out, tells little I am afraid. The meters vary and the readings do too it seems. I am yet to try it using my expensive Fluke meter at work. Although I can tell you that many times things like this may show good untill put to use! A total failure is different, and may well show.
